Filthy room! Built up hair in corner of bathroom. Food on floor upon check in. Dirty floors in hallway. Didn’t even bother complaining because we didn’t want to move all our stuff. Spent minimal time in room. Too bad as location and lodge center shops were ok. I will be sending pics to management. Not for compensation but to show them how disgusting it was.
The location is great for seeing the canyon
The room is Spartan with no storage poor lighting and generally not well laid out after 3 nights we were so ready to leave
we were in building 5 and the property is not updated and very dingy. Our bed linens were yellow and did not appear clean. Electric went out for 4 hours on one night. Generator provided power to hallway lights, but thats it. Food was quite a long walk and that area was very very dirty. Garbage on floors, dirty tables. For the premium price here, it is not worth it at all. Stay at the West entrance. There were beautiful options there.

Besides the convenience of the location the actual property was not great. Very noisy room made it hard to sleep at night. Rooms are not well insulated.
This lodge was very nice if you want to stay in Yellowstone. The property was much better than the hotel in West Yellowstone we stayed in. Very clean, very quiet. We walked to the Canyon of the Yellowstone from our hotel. The food court was not very good. Food was mediocre but only slightly overpriced. The problem with this hotel is that, like everything else in Yellowstone, it is so far away from anything. Not the fault of the lodge and probably what most guests are looking for but be forwardned, you are not close to anything at this lodge

Liked: Cleanliness
Disliked: Room comfort
Comfortable but not a good night’s sleep.
The bed was comfortable but the pillows were small and the air con noise from somewhere in the hotel, perhaps the floor below, was like sleeping on a speaker with the bass passing through my head. No sleep. The facilities were great. The check in staff member was so helpful and patient.
Wonderful and walkable to various activities. No Tvs in hotel venues in Yellowstone so be prepared. Good internet access, though! Comfortable beds and clean.
Terrible check in experience. Reception staff that dealt with us was not good. Distracted. Answered the phone twice while dealing with us. Didn’t give us any good or useful information. Didn’t explain where our rooms were properly. All around terrible.
Good rooms.
But the Wi-fi was abysmal. Basically unusable. Did a speed test at 18.00 came out at 210kbs. Asked about it in reception. Lady said it was dependent on the number of people using it. Utter nonsense. Same speed at 23.00. The next morning at 06.00 it was finally in the low MB. But still very slow and not an appropriate speed or level for a decent hotel.
Food was very far away. Chaotic with poor signage.
Checkout was fast and simple.
