Good value hotel with great service. I've rated the hotel taking into account the cost of the hotel, relative to what we received. The hotel decor is dated but is clean and comfortable. Free breakfast - although not a huge spread like some hotel, they had sufficient choices and what they did serve was tasty and of good quality (better than some breakfast I had to paid additional for). The breakfast options is much like the breakfast they serve in Japan, so didn't not really have western options. Having coin operated washing machine facility onsite was super convenient. Check in and express check out, were both quick and easy. Staff were helpful, for example ordering take out for us.

Comfortable for solo travel
Hotel is great, staff is very friendly. My room was comfortable enough for me, shower was easy to work with. They gave me fresh towels and water daily. Breakfast was good. My biggest peeve was you can hear the water running sometimes but other than that I had a very comfortable stay.

Staff is very rigid, unfriendly and unyielding. I have stayed at Toyoko Inn extensively in the past, but the poor customer experience / support this time around has really put on a negative impression.
