Perfectly acceptable but nothing special
Hotel was very clean, not a lot of character but was very close to the shambles and everything we wanted to visit. Breakfast was good, nothing special but fully stocked and a good selecrion. Beds a little firm and low for us but great that the twin room was two queen sized beds.

Book in time was 3pm I arrived early at around 12.30 and asked if I could leave my luggage they said my room was ready very helpful staff clean large room will definitely stay there again

Good location central to all main areas of York. Rooms very comfortable and all amenities. Area around the hotel is presenly being developed so not particularly pretty. The only issue is the hotel is very busy so difficult to find table during breakfast and the lifts are a little small otherwise a very comfortable stay and the staff are freindly and helpful and we would stay again.

Very nice staff. Really good breakfast. Clean and comfortable. Excellent location. Only downside for us (seniors) were the beds were a bit low to the ground but otherwise very comfortable and extra long for tall people.

I was there for the York Christmas Market. The price was extortionate. The Christmas decorations were lackluster and no Christmas atmosphere. The staff were good but seemed to lack professional training in communicating with clients. The food choices were basic. The beds were not to the usual Hilton standard. Parking is in the local car parks.

Perfect night away!
Perfect location, easy check in, lovely staff. Bar was priced as you’d expect a hotel bar but service was exceptional. Room was very clean, well laid out, view of the river and castle. Would definitely stay again Remember, this does day parking available, the Shambles car park is not far away at all though

Really good hotel if your visiting York, it is nearby to all the main attractions and sight seeing areas. The hotel offers breakfast included, which isn’t just continental, it serves full English which was an added bonus! The hotel is spacious with nice large seating area in the lobby with bar attached. The room we had was a Queen bed with additional sofa bed, the room was clean, fresh and contemporary with a nice bathroom and large shower. Only complaint is that the sofa bed is very hard and uncomfortable to lie on but for 2 nights it’s manageable. The hotel is feels safe and secure and offers luggage store and gym facilities. I would definitely stay here again if visiting York.
