Nice local pub
It is a very nice pub to stay local in. Small but comfortable room. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Only stayed overnight and only had breakfast which we nothing enjoyed. Stayed before and will no doubt stay again .

We stayed here on 2/12/24 for our anniversary, hotel was in the middle of a little village and quiet. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were very welcoming especially at breakfast on the Sunday morning, the girl couldn’t do enough for us and was really helpful. Food was good, we thought it wouldn’t be that good for a free breakfast but we would have happily paid extra for it. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we are hoping to return in summer

the staff were brilliant and couldn't have been more welcoming. upgraded to a lovely mews cottage at the back of the property. very comfortable but that said property in need of some TLC.. Breakfast: Best Omelet i have ever had

The hotel is good value for money very conveniently positioned. The breakfast was excellent with very friendly staff. As previous reviewers have said parts of the hotel could do with a bit of an upgrade but all things considered it was fine

We have stayed at the kings head a few times now. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The food is excellent. The rooms are very comfortable and have what you need for a lovely stay. We definately love the resident cat! Would definately recommend anyone to stay here.

Lovely break away.
The hotel itself is a little dated and could do with updating however for the price you can't really complain. The staff are all lovely and very friendly and attentive. The food is really good, I recommend the steak, it was so tender. We took 2 dogs with us and they were made a fuss of too. This is our 2nd time there and we have booked again already for November.
