Mezzanine overlooking the open plan sitting area has a pool table and beds which can be laid to a king sized bed or two singles. A heavy curtain across the balcony allows privacy for guests.

Launde Barn is a unique, high quality barn conversion offering privacy and style just a short distance north of York. The village of Sutton on the Forest is charming, with a popular tearoom, Miss Daisy's, just 5 minutes walk away, a Georgian stately home, Sutton Park, a beautiful 19th century church, a recently opened whisky/gin distillery, a delicious Italian restaurant and a large recreation ground with play areas, boules, football pitch and table tennis table.
The village has easy access by bus into York (for attractions such as the famous York Minster, National Railway Museum, the Yorvik Viking Centre, the Yorkshire Chocolate Story, the City Walls and Racecourse) or the nearby Georgian town of Easingwold.
The barn is ideally situated for access to the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors and other attractions such as Castle Howard, Eden Camp, the Yorkshire Air Museum, Ampleforth Abbey and School and the seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby. Village shops, both community owned, are located in the nearby villages of Huby and Stillington.
