We had a very enjoyable stay at the Yorkway Motel. We were only there for the weekend, but from start to finish the stay was enjoyable. The room was home from home, very clean,comfortable and spacious with a brilliant shower facility. The restaurant/bar was equally as welcoming, the food both evening and breakfast was delicious. Nothing was too much bother. We will definitely be back .

Three night stay in Pocklington
Three night stay travelling alone. Well kept and managed by very friendly and efficient staff. Room clean and tidy, excellent bathroom. Food good.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spotless and spacious, the food was very good and the portions were quite large, also the restaurant/bar is very warm and comfortable, otherwise our stay was very pleasant and we would highly recommend the Motel.

Nice large room, good size bathroom, comfortable mattress. Very good food in the evening - home battered fish and chips was terrific. Breakfast good too. Hard working and very helpful staff. Quite a lot of noise from the road, though keeping the bathroom door closed at night helped. Room a little airless as keeping windows open for ventilation meant a lot of road noise would come in.

An excellent place to stay. Our room was exceptional - lots of lights and sockets everywhere. Food was really good too; best breakfast we’ve ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. I would definitely recommend.

Great little place.
I tend to stay here when working near York. It's a fantastic little place with great parking just outside your room. The rooms a spacious enough for work in the evenings and very comfortable. Breakfast is great too and the chap who runs it is really friendly. I look forward to my next stay there.

Functional motel
We stayed here recently for a local function. While there was nothing particularly wrong about the place, it was just a little expensive for what essentially is a roadside motel. Having stayed at many beautiful places in the area, I feel this motel should be £80/90 at the very most per room. On a positive note, the breakfast food was nice and bed comfortable. I recommend this place if you need to be in this area, but don't expect an accommodation with any wow factor. Its simply a bed for the night with breakfast.
