Located inside the gates, you’ll be within easy reach of all of the breathtaking attractions this natural playground holds while surrounded on all sides by the beauty and majesty of the mountainous landscape. THINGS TO NOTE:
• Those home does not offer laundry facilities.
• Wi-Fi is available but Yosemite West is deep in the park and remote. Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent at times. If you intend to be online for work or require consistent/constant connection, this may not be the best destination.
• Driveway parking available for 2 vehicles.
• Guests need not make a park entry reservation ahead of their visit but must show their confirmed booking information upon arrival and pay $35 per non-commercial vehicle to enter. Entry is good for 7 days.
• This wonderful cabin is deep in Yosemite and one step from nature and as such is subject to the natural occurrences of snow, rain, wind, falling pine needles and leaves, dust/dirt, animals and insects. As these issues persist long after we clean, there is a broom, and other necessary items to assist you in clearing the decks, steps and porch.

Yosemite West is located within the southern entrance to Yosemite National Park. It's a popular destination for tourists and locals alike, offering a variety of activities and attractions.
For good reason, one of the most popular things to do in Yosemite West is to hike. There are a number of trails that lead into Yosemite National Park, so you can easily explore the park's many natural wonders. If you're looking for a more challenging hike, you can try the Mist Trail, which leads to Vernal and Nevada Falls. If you’re not into hiking, there are still plenty of other things to do such as fishing, biking, or swimming. You can also visit the Yosemite Museum, which has exhibits on the park's history and natural features. No matter what you're interested in, you're sure to find something to do in Yosemite West!

Yosemite stay
This place was okay but we kept walking into cobwebs inside the house, the door code we were initially provided didn’t work to gain access - had to drive back to valley to get service and get correct code from app, the home is an older log cabin but it’s really needs some updates / newer furniture. The group just does the minimum in terms of stocking it and keeping up with it. The cable tv didn’t work or internet even though it’s Yosemite and they put that information in literature - you’d think they’d have starlink or something to make the stay more enjoyable. The home is also listed for sale which leads one to believe they don’t really care and are just trying to make $ in the meantime. I’d find another place if I was going on the trip again.

Not safe for children, stay at own risk
This place is clean, with fresh sheets and toilet paper, but in a deeper way this place is in a state of neglect and everything is on the verge of breaking which is scary when you have young children. If you just want a place to sleep at night and you don’t mind no AC, no tv, no Wi-Fi (to the level you can’t receive or make calls or use gps), then this place is probably fine. But if you have children, the windows are poorly installed and can easily come off their rails. it wouldn’t take much weight for them to fall out and a child could fall from the second story into rocks. The doors also all lock from the inside, including the closets (why?!) and our 3 year old locked herself inside the closet. Pretty scary place to stay in, especially when you can’t use your phone to call for help

Cute cabin, but no WIFI
Cabin is cute and had plenty of room. No AC, but had lots of fans. Location is great, inside park, 30 min to Glacier pt and Valley. We did have some issues, had difficulty getting into unit, code we were provided did not work. We contacted management company and got resolved quickly. WI-FI does not work, we contacted rental company several times and they said they couldn’t do anything since router was in downstairs unit and there was nothing they could do to reset it. Trash dumpster is not very convenient, have to take trash to a dumpster down another road, it is locked and we were not given code, called rental company and they did give us code. Would prefer to not have to contact rental company so much, especially difficult with very little cell service.

Would not stay here again
1) Listing does state the second bathroom has not shower. Should say 1.5 bathrooms so we know what to expect. Allowing up to 7 people with 1.5 bathrooms is not what we would have seclected 2) Internet is horrible - Please dont say it works. It does not and the mobile phone service in that area is bad , so very important for internet to be working

Amazing home base for Yosemite
We had a GREAT time staying at the log home as we explored Yosemite for a week. Staying inside the park and <20 minutes from tunnel view made our days so much more efficient. The home itself is huge with lots of space indoors as well as a nice little backyard and porch to enjoy the peaceful neighborhood (or watch the deer run around which we saw every day).

Not a total disaster
We were only there 3 nights. You're not going to fix the problems we had while guests are present. The internet isn't going to work here. Period. The dish(s) need to be installed on a pole off the roof, not on the ground up the hill somewhere. So, don't plan to have internet. We had to put a cell phone out by the road to get 2 bars and run a hotspot. Granted, we're at Yosemite, who's staring at their screens here? We contacted the mgmt company who's reply was "One moment please"... and then they disappeared into the ether, like their internet connection. Don't spend any time on it. The cute "its mountain internet, teehee" vibes from the property description are dishonest. Its non-existent. The fireplace mesh cover borders on dangerously broken. Just get another one. They're really cheap. We arrived to the only shower head in the house laying on the bathroom floor unattached. We made due with baths. Half of us are children, anyway. Just, come on. Why have a 500 gallon propane tank in the driveway with no gas stove or fireplace? Strange. The departing instructions said to take your trash to an address, and the can would be "behind the cabin". So, I walked up to this poor guys house... obviously a resident not a vacationer, and he pointed across the street. Stop sending us to someone's private home with our trash. That was sad, embarrassing, and potentially risky. Pros. The beds are comfy. The place is clean. The fireplace works. The porch is excellent for sipping coffee.

Log Cabin House
The cabin is very nice. It is clean, well-maintained with new carpeting and flooring. It is very spacious and great for a family or group. The location is great with easy access to the valley and also in the other direction to a small grocery store and gas. We had difficulty getting in because the door code was not correct and it took some time to reach the property manager. The house is advertised as having internet access. But the internet access is sketchy and essentially nonexistent. This wouldn’t have been a problem if it had been advertised as such. Overall we enjoyed our stay.
