Quiet Luxury-Tall Pines-3 Bedroom-2.5acres-Sleeps 16-Swim & Fish 5mins to creek!

The Hideaway at Haigler Creek is a luxury cabin in the very private Preserve at Haigler Creek, a small community surrounded by national forest. The cabin is about 3000 sq feet, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. With a total of 10 beds, it sleeps up to 16! With Starlink high speed wifi, you can still be connected to the world while away from it all!

The main floor has a large modern kitchen with a gas stove, and it's fully stocked with the latest small appliances for any job. It also features a dining room as well as the main living room with a wood burning fireplace, large plush couch and an OLED TV combined with Sonos sourond sound. The Master bedroom on this floor is quite large with a Tuft and Needle Mint mattress and a huge Whirlpool jetted tub.

Upstairs features a spacious loft with couch, LED TV, and games. It's an open air design to the main floor and maintains the perfect view of the two story windows. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs, the first being a King suite with private access to the bathroom. The second is the bunk house room featuring custom pine queen over queen and full over full adult bunk beds all with Tuft and Needle mattresses! Additionally, there 2 fold out memory foam mattresses ( a full and a queen!)

Outside, the property is about 2.5 fully fenced acres and has 2 grass lawns, a large fire pit and access to hiking right out the back gate. Haigler creek is only a few hundred yards from the cabin and you can hear it from the deck. The creek runs year round and offers great swimming and fishing. It's stocked with trout in late spring through fall.

This cabin is exactly what you need. It has all the ammenties for a comfortable stay while also being private, quiet and a chance to take a break from the busy world. Listen to the creek from the deck, enjoy fishing or swimming, then come back to enjoy the jetted master bath tub.

The town of Young is only about a 20 min drive. It has a gas station, grocery store and a couple restaurants.

!!Wildlife, rodents, and bugs oh my!!
** While we do our best to limit the nuisance of wildlife, rodents and bugs on the property, please keep in mind that this property is in the middle of the national forest. As multiple pest control companies have told us “It is virtually impossible to control”. It’s hard enough in the city but out in the mountains, especially as remote as we are, please understand we are living in their domain. It is completely common to see elk, deer, javelina, coyotes, turkeys, squirrels and mice to just name a few. We have even had black bears in the yard. In addition you will see bugs! Especially in the summer months when they are most active. That being said if you see something out of the ordinary please let us know.

Cameras are installed around the exterior of the property to monitor wildlife, etc. as well as one in the garage.

House rules:
• Haul out all trash. There are no trash services in the community. We have provided trash bags, use as many as you need.
• No music or loud noises at any time! All noise carries in the canyon so please help maintain the peace and quiet sought by those who live and visit here. Any complaints from neighbors will result in an immediate termination of your stay. Please be respectful.
• Do not park anything on the grass areas. There are sprinklers and septic lines that will break.
• Be aware of fire restrictions. Seasonal restrictions do not allow fires. Check the following site before an outside fire. https://www.fs.usda.gov/alerts/tonto/alerts-notices You are welcome to use the fireplace inside anytime. Additionally, many fire restrictions still allow for propane-based fires.
• Leave used beds unmade so we know which bedding to change and wash.
• Leave used towels in the laundry room so we know which ones to wash.
• Wash any used dishes. You’re welcome to leave a load running in the dishwasher.

Fishing/Creek Access:
• There is fishing gear in the garage, and you are welcome to use it! Please put any equipment back where you found it.
• Creek access is found just north of the neighborhood about 1⁄2 mile along the main road (FS200). There is also creek access at the picnic sites and campsites on both ends of the neighborhood as well as other places along the road (FS200).

Wi-Fi / TV:
• High speed Wi-Fi is available for your convenience. The password is watchforbears
• We have an Apple TV streaming box on all TVs. It is connected to our huge library of purchased movies and shows as well as subscriptions to Netflix, Disney Plus, Hulu, and more. Feel free to enjoy.

Beautiful cabin
Absolutely outstanding stay! My family, 5 adults, 2 teenagers, and kids from 7yr. -3 month old had a blast! The kids scooter cars, swing, treehouse, yard sized connect 4, kept all the kids happy. The property is fenced for my dog, & there is even a dog run (we didn’t use) From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene beauty and tranquility of the area. The property was impeccably maintained, offering a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern amenities. The beds are all very comfortable! The cabin was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surrounding nature provided breathtaking views and endless opportunities for outdoor activities. Our family’s favorite was the beautiful walk to the creek to go fishing. We did take option 2 on young hwy for the route. the road was dirt but not bad for the bumps. Two of us had 2WD trucks and was able to get up the hill to the cabin even though there was rain. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring our experience was nothing short of exceptional. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway in a picturesque setting, Highly recommend!

Stay at Cabin
The property was nice. The creek was more than a 5 minute walk. On the drive in we took the “shorter bumpier” path. It was literally a cliffside drive and if another car came by on the the cliff we would have been at a standstill in our 15 passenger van. On the drive home we took the “less bumpy” path and that was much easier of a drive. You don’t really know what you are getting into based off the description in the listing with the shorter path, plus with the amount of bumps and big rocks in the road you end up driving a lot slower then the bumpy road. Josh was great! He was very responsive and informative. His home was lovely. We traveled with a good number of kids and they were entertained the whole time. The vaulted ceilings definitely carry sound, so be aware when traveling with the louder smaller humans. We saw a centipede in the driveway and a tarantula when walking outside the property.

Lovely home in a beautiful location
Our large family made Thanksgiving family memories in this lovely home. Lots of space and room for everyone. Every kitchen appliance that you can imagine has been provided. Plenty of plates, utensils and drinkware. We were thankful that we brought our own casserole dishes. Thanksgiving dinner required plenty of these. Table space made it possible for our group to all sit together for meals. Outdoor space was perfect for Family Field Day games. We checked out the creek and I imagine it's a great place to enjoy in the summer. Had to set up a shower schedule as there is only one shower, however there is a jetted tub in the primary for those who like to tub. Everyone agreed that the beds were very comfortable. Kids enjoyed the loft area and gaming system that was provided. The drive in is beautiful and exciting! We had dry roads but heed the owner's warnings about possible road conditions. The memories we made during our stay are priceless.

Beautiful Property, plenty of room for the 11 of us. Josh the property owner was very communicative and quickly responded to any questions we had. Even though there’s no cell service up there, the Wi-Fi at the house was great and everyone was able to get on with no issue. Definitely a great place to get away from everything and get some team/family bonding time in. Will definitely be back with my family for a longer stay.

Cabin in the Woods
The cabin was beautiful and it was exactly what we wanted and anticipated. Joshua and his family kindly agreed to allow us a tour of the house and property prior to our stay, after booking, so we could plan our family event. The cabin is very secluded so definitely make sure you pack in your food and pack out your trash as well. Joshua has a fully stocked kitchen for your cooking needs, so you don't need to bring any cookware. The directions to the cabin are very accurate and the entrance is easy to locate. For us we found the drive down the Young Rd to take about an hour and 20 minutes. The driveway into the property is very steep and, on our stay, fresh gravel had just been laid on the incline. It was not compacted yet and it made the ascent difficult for any vehicle without four-wheel drive. I'm sure that this will improve as the driveway gets compacted but use caution and check before you make the climb. Overall, the house and the surroundings are lovely, and we would absolutely stay again in the future.

Woodsy weekend getaway with family and friends
We had a wonderful time at this property! The house is spacious with plenty of room for everyone (we had 14 people). There were lots of games, puzzles, and toys for my kids (they especially loved the toy kitchen in the upstairs loft). The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to cook. My dogs loved exploring the property, as there is a lot of space to run around outside. We also enjoyed using the fire pit for s'mores and looking at the stars at night. The host was very responsive and made sure all my questions were answered quickly. The driveway was a little tricky to get up, but we managed just fine in our minivan. I would recommend bringing everything you need for your trip with you, as it is very secluded. Which was perfect for what we were looking for this weekend. All in all, we really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back again sometime!

Perfect Getaway
After losing our dad/grandfather, our family could not celebrate the holidays together. We decided to have a family gathering to spend time together to heal. We chose this home because it fit all our needs: size, location, and price. Joshua, the host, communicated with me from the start and answered all my questions right away. We loved the check-in process and having access to wifi/landline in case of an emergency. We took our own food/cookware, however their kitchen was stocked with all types of goodies. There we 3 spacious bedrooms in total, each with an extra foldable bed and TONS of extra blankets. The pictures don’t do justice to how beautiful the property is. We were a bit worried about the roads, but one of us took a small sedan and made it in just fine. We have 4 small children that kept themselves entertained with the toys in the home, the Nintendo switch and the multiple streaming services to watch. There was a nice fire pit outside that we enjoyed telling stories around and having some laughs. We honestly could not have stayed in a better home. Thank you again Joshua for opening up your home, we are forever grateful. You don’t know how much this meant for our family, and how this stay has helped us heal and grow closer. Sincerely, the Mendoza-Ruiz Family!
