The room was clean, however the outside of the Howard Johnson is horribly dirty and old. Now I know why they don't share a lot of images of the property. The TVs are old (not Smart TVs). There was no USB connection in the room and the front desk attendant couldn't help me. The A/C units are old and make a lot of noise. I had a hard time sleeping, because of the heavy traffic on 4th street.

This hotel has been so welcoming and comforting during one of the biggest challenges of my adult life. Their dedicated commitment is reason they are such a excellent hotel. Besides the crisp clean room the interactions with the staff have been more than superior they are memorable and my hats off to the entire team. Life has its ups and downs. But when things are too challenging I look forward to coming to this hotel for comfort. From the dedicated staff with a welcoming vibe to the crisp clean linen scent and wonderful amenities. Always amazing. Clean rooms, close to where we needed to go. The breakfast service was more than others. Typical cereal, yogurt... but, there is a staff member cooking eggs to order. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Yuma.

Checked in late. Had reserved/confirmed a ADA/mobility room because we had our service dog with us. They gave us a standard room. Didnt notice until after we had unpacked and settled in. It was a connecting room and the 1st two nights we found a huge spider and cockroach coming out from under the connecting door. Extremely poor workmanship for all the repairs that have been done to the walls, paint, caulking, etc. Big rip in the carpet. Microwave was not plugged in.

The property and staff here make this my new favorite barhain hotel in the Yuma area. The made to order eggs for breakfast is a fantastic way to get my day started. The City of Yuma Mucipal golf course, Desert Hills, is just 1.5 miles away amd it is a fantastic place with a new leadersgip staff that hhas made it as good as it has been in the past 25 years. I highly recommend the Howard Johnson Hotel by Wyndham.

The property is so poorly maintained- our room reeked of bleach smell. The door in the bathroom had obviously been clawed at by a dog, one of the pillow cases had dried blood on it ! The room floor had not been vacuumed well - the curtains were old and tattered. Walls were thin so we heard the man in the next room coughing all night. Breakfast was a joke - the lady cooking the eggs watched tv on her phone and sprayed the cooked eggs with Pam prior to giving to us. We didn’t eat them. I would never go back nor recommend this hotel to anyone. The exterior looks like an abandoned hotel - we were given two thin small towels only for showers and the Fridge and microwave were not clean
