Wonderful! A once in a lifetime opportunity to stay in a magnificent Chateau taken from the fairy tales. The owners are very nice, the place is clean and decorated with grace, with attention to every little detail and great ancient artifacts and restoration work done. The grounds are beautiful. Breakfast was served with splendor and friendly service, though I would add 2-3 local cheeses and a soft/hard boiled egg.
The downside would be that it is NOT AT ALL suited for old/disabled people, there's no elevator and the staircases are circular and slippery with only a rope for a rail. Also the toilet seat in the room is made of ..... wood, which is clean, but still somewhat weird... Perhaps, the cupboard should contain single-use toilet seat-covers, just in case. Wifi is also lacking in performance, it can only be found in the lobby and not in the rooms, this may also be considered as an advantage because you really get the "old times" experience, but still it is important to know. Double Beds are Princess-size (slightly smaller than Queen Size).
All in all, a tremendous experience, and the bathtubs were the best!!! Try to ask for the room with the FRONT view, it's the best!
