Good cost-benefit
The atmosphere is familiar. We have met someone from the accommodation only when we got there to check in and during breakfast. There’s no reception once it’s as accommodation. It was said if we arrived late we should call the hotel because the main door might be closed. The land number (website and hotels.com) was wrong. I tried to talk to them about my reservation before getting there but they didn’t reply to the emails or calls.

Amazing Villa just a short Uber/Taxi from Town
We stayed in room 6 at the villa and it was a lovely room with a massive balcony and a beautiful view! We were met by the owner (I think) who was lovely, showed us a map of Zadar and where the highlights were and then showed us around. Pool is nice and an ok size though it helped it wasn’t busy when we went. Great place to relax. Also gets plenty sun all day. The hotels dog came to say hi too which was great as we love dogs but might be worth considering or mentioning if anyone was allergic. Breakfast was simple but lovely And had all the usual continental items available. Worst thing I can say about the hotel is that it’s a long 45min walk to zadar old town which was fine for us once in the heat. After that, we just used Uber’s which was about £5 each way! Well worth it to save 45min and arrive without being all sweaty. If I ever found myself back in zadar, I’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it in a heartbeat. It’d have to be Room 6 for the view though as it’s what made the stay for us.

Wonderful place to stay
The Villa was great and the breakfast was very good. Our room 305 had 2 “beam” that you must be aware of or you can give your head a wack. Otherwise every thing was great

In residental area away from old town and ocean, construction activity across street; nice clean and large room with balcony and distant sea view between houses, good breakfast with adequate protein and coffee, good shower, good a/c, initially given room lesser than booked and expected, owner angry (with hotels.com?) but gave reluctantly gave us expected room.

Good place for one night stay!
We enjoyed our stay at Villa Jillian. The host was kind lady, as we had late flight and the hotel is fair way away she left the key with a note. It would be great if it was bit nearer to the town. It is in residential area so nothing much around.

A nice stay
A pleasant stay overall. Our room was spacious with a kettle and a bar fridge which was a bonus! The bathroom was quite large with a lot of natural light. Breakfast was great. Staff was friendly. The only downside was that the shower head holder and a towel rail were broken and made things a little awkward.

Fantastic staff
Very pleased with our stay at Villa Julian as a last minute booking. The staff were really helpful and went out of their way to help us find somewhere else when they couldn't accommodate us for another night. Spotlessly clean and spacious appartment. However very weak wifi and extremely thin walls which made for a lot of noise when a family was staying across from us.

Enjoyed our stay
After getting a bit lost trying to find the hotel in the dark, we settled in quite nicely to the surroundings. Although it is possible to walk to the old town, driving and free parking was easy in the morning and ultimately later in the day. The owner, was out of town, but it all worked out and we enjoyed the spacious apartment, the local cats, and thoroughly enjoyed Zadar.

Lovely place to stay
This was a lovely place to stay. The owner was lovely and very informative. We could not fault the place - the room was much bigger than we expected too. If you want to spend most of your time in Old Town, you may want to stay somewhere closer (is about a 15 minute bus ride away - 10 minute walk to bus stop). It is very handy to the main beaches in Zadar.

Quiet location away from city centre with pool
Booked comfort double room and had a spacious living room and separate bedroom (as well as bathroom) with balcony. Breakfast in the garden terrace was provided with a good selection of fare. Owners/ staff very helpful with providing information on Zadar and local restaurants. Pool area is lovely and very clean. The hotel is around 45 minutes to the centre however a bus stop is close by and we had no problems catching a bus. Nearby restaurants were very good especially Roko and Pizzeria Sime.

Fine, really.
We stayed for a few days in June, taking an apartment with separate bedroom. When we arrived it was blazing hot inside and the weedy AC didn't really cool it down until we'd been in bed for hours. Despite having such a large room, there's nowhere to unpack clothes aside from a single wardrobe with no drawers. Bed fairly hard but not uncomfortably so. Cleaning didn't seem to happen, although we were issued with clean towels every couple of days. Wifi is extremely patchy, often dropping off entirely (particularly late at night). Staff were helpful and friendly, and arranged an incoming transfer for us -- although the driver clearly didn't know the price that the hotel had posted on hotels.com, and tried charging more. He very quickly backed down and agreed to the hotel's price but not the sort of thing that makes a great first impression. Hotel pool is heated enough to take the chill off but still felt cold even when it was 25-30C outside. The hotel also left a pool-bot in there all day once. There's a fair spread for breakfast (ok for vegetarians) though you need to be up bright and early if you want to get hold of any scrambled egg/bacon or croissants, as they don't do enough to go round. Location is okay: 10-min walk to bus stops and 10-mins down to the beach and camping at Borik (which charges entry for its beach). Nearby is also the Sime pizzeria, which is well worth a visit as it was one of the best places we ate at.
