The staff was not friendly, nor very helpful. For example, they were extremely negative when we asked if they would make a dinner reservation. The lobby bar was not open the entire 6 day stay and only open 2 mornings for coffee. You had to pay for coffee and the dining room by card or cash, you couldn’t charge to the room. And they informed us of this 3 days into the stay by a letter left in the room. We asked for 2 extra towels 3 times and never got them. We stayed over New Year’s Day and at 10 in the morning nothing was opened, they closed the breakfast buffet and you could NOT get coffee anywhere, including the room that only had tea. The bathroom was clean but the shower soap dispenser had to be replaced, The cover of the Kleenex receptacle and plastic sanitary bags kept falling off. We had to completely remove the drain cover so it would drain. The bathtub was a very high, dangerous step with no grab bar. If we didn’t have the heated towel rack to grab onto I don’t know how safe it would be. We will NEVER book here again. The only thing this hotel has going for it was the location.

Nice hotel. Note, zero plug ins in bath. We’re there Christmas Eve and Day. Ate at their restaurant. Cold food from pricey buffet both times. Servers slow.

Stayed in a suite. Nice big room on the corner in the centre of town and the christmas markets. Only negative was that we couldnt control the aircon, temperature was preset. If you are a tea drinker bring your own. Only herbal in roon and at breakfast.

Lovely Hotel, in a great location, in the centre of Zagreb, close to all the shops and Xmas market. Staff all very friendly and welcoming, and Rooms were superb, with all in it, perfect for a short stay. Hotels breakfast was great with all selections and variety really lovely, couldn’t fault it at all. Would highly recommend and would definitely return, if lucky enough to return.

Perfect location and staff were very helpful. Food ar rhe hotel was also great.The only downside was that they didn't have plain black coffee or black tea in the rooms, otherwise would've been excellent!

Best location in Zagreb! Right in historic old town and so beautiful. Walk to everything you need - historic sites, great restaurants. Wonderful buffet breakfast every morning & service could not have been better by all hotel staff. Will stay again!

The hotel is in a great location to walk around the city and many dining and drinking options close by. We had 3 standard rooms and they were all different sizes and the decor is a bit dated. One of the showers needed to be held whilst in use as wouldn’t stay in the holder, another room the shower kept flowing onto the floor. For our 3 night stay the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great. Would stay again due to location and ease for exploring the city.
