Nice cabin near the lake with circle drive and 2 boat stalls with parking for up to 4 boats and plenty of outdoor electricity. Perfect for recreational or tournament fishermen alike. Full amenities inside, small kitchen with fridge and stove/oven, a full bathroom with shower and washer/dryer. Loft with two king size beds and twin bed below with room to sleep on couch and love seat, as well. Only 1/2 mile from popular Cassels Boykin Park and Ramp!

Great for a group of men!!
Our stay wasn’t bad at all. As the wife, I wouldn’t stay there again but my husband absolutely would!! The house was clean just definitely man vibes, not a bad thing! No cell service at all inside & no windows!

Fisherman cabin needs help.
The toilet needs to be fixed and take some pictures of the outside. We did not know what the placed looked like and you are right it is a fisherman cabin. Please clean out the icebox the peanut butter has mold in it. But thank you.

Overall a good place to stay for a weekend getaway the yard was a little messed up and the grass was high making it hard to see the few potholes it had but the inside was nice and perfect for us

The location is perfect but bring groceries because there are very few restaurants around. Also bring DVDs because that is the only thing to watch.

Definitely a 'manly' cabin
The pictures that were taken of this cabin must have been taken years ago when the couches still had the pleather on them and both recliners worked properly =) As was mentioned before, there is no internet access... and the local redbox down the street wasn't working so I bought movies from Dollar General. Also, this cabin is not "on the lake" as described, but it is a very SHORT drive (maybe 2 minutes) to the lake. We enjoyed our time here and I believe if my bf was to go back with his fishing buddies this would be a great place to stay.

Was there for a high school fishing tournament. Great location only 2 minutes from the boat ramp. Quiet area and easy to get to.

Great location!!
The location was great. This is definitely a guys fishing cabin. Took my wife who was not overly impressed with the wearing of furniture or the low loft bedding. Overall I would would come back with my son or a guy friend.

Relaxing stay.
Place was good for a fish camp. Lots of seating and bedding. Liked the home feel. Good location. Enjoyed our stay. Only issue was the shower. Shower head in bathroom probably needs to be replaced and couldn’t keep the shower temperature regulated. Would rent again.

Great spot for the guys!
Enjoyed our stay and convenient location to two boat launch areas. Bring your own DVD’s as that is the only way to watch tv. Little tough to cook as the kitchen is small. Great place for the guys to get away and enjoy the lake.

No nonsense fishing camp
Great location and set up. Parking is a little difficult to navigate, but manageable. Owner is very responsive to communication. Perfect location and price for a place to stay while on a fishing trip. Well water had a distinct sulfur smell - bring bottled water if that is going to be a problem for you.

Perfect for "The Guy(s) going fishing
If you're going to fish and not worried about everything being perfect the this is place to consider!!! Bed in loft was great, access may be issue for older gentlemen. Bathroom and kitchen should have been cleaner in my opinion, satisfactory being by myself. I will come and sta again, however not a place I would bring my wife here. Location is great, covered parking with lighting is great for boats, access is extremely tight with a crew cab long bed truck and a 21ft boat.

Fishing Time!
The property is perfect for a fishing getaway. That is the very best part how close it is to the boat ramp and how peaceful the neighborhood is. Nice front porch, good hot water for a shower and good little kitchen area with table. Even watched a DVD on the TV. Overall very nice experience.

This is really all you need for a fishing get away. Perfect location. It was just a couples weekend, but you could easily bring the family. Bring DVDs if you want to watch TV or the Dollar General down the road has a Redbox.

Perfect Fishing Cabin
Jacob's place was just about as close as you can get to one of the major fishing ramps on Sam Rayburn. It had everything you need to feel like a home away from home. It provided a great place to relax after a long day fishing and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sam Rayburn.
