I do not usually write reviews but this was one time I needed to make an exception. The hostel is that nice. It is very clean and modern. The hostel always had someone on hand in the reception to assist 24 hours a day and all the receptionists were always so nice. Not to mention the hostel is a mere 5 minutes walk from the Baltic sea and an amazing beach. Since the sun rises at about 3am during summers, you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to check out the beach at that time. It is nothing short of heavenly. While the distance from Kaliningrad might put some people off, it is actually not that bad. It is just about a 30 minutes taxi ride and the view along the highway is pretty engrossing.

Один из лучших хостелов в стране (проехал несколько десятков)! Не уступает европейским. Положительные эмоции гарантированы! + Местоположение - центр города, кафе, вокзалы, море. Всё в пешей доступности 5-10 минут. + Вежливый персонал. Администратор, повар, уборщица. + Чистота везде! + Бесплатный завтрак - фуршет!, а не ограниченные порции. + Современная мебель, сантехника и т.д. Вход в номер, шкафчики по электронному ключу + Хорошее не дешёвое постельное бельё, широкие кровати и по 2 подушки на каждого! + В душевых всегда есть мыло, гель и бумажные полотенца! А ещё за зданием хостела живут кошки. Штук 10. Их можно кормить остатками завтрака )))

Штрафы за браслеты
В целом хостел супер, но огорчил штраф за браслет. В карман его не положишь, с руки сползает. Выронили/забыли на территории хостела в лобби. Штраф оказался в 2 раза больше цены за сутки проживания. Огорчились и желания оставаться там не было, съехали. Имхо, если бы хостел компенсировал расходы на браслет по себестоимости, получил бы ещё несколько ночей нашего проживания и сохранил постоянных клиентов.

Разочарование
Все было отлично пока за утерю браслета-ключа не оштрафовали на 1000 р. при стоимости проживания 550р. Штраф как-то не созвучен гостевому сервису. Да и нет обоснования стоимости браслета. Разочаровался в столь прекрасном хостеле. Много раз здесь останавливался и не ожидал такого подхода к возмещению затрат с гостей
