The property seems clean and well taken care of. I have stayed here a few times in the past and always had a great experience. Unfortunately it has new owners, and they focused more on the asthetics than the comfort. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. They used ti be very soft. Now they are Very firm. Their breakfast was decent, not too bad. They cleared out the botique and made it into a dining hall. It seems no one even used the dining hall. I miss the botique. Conviently located near shops and Lake Michigan. Great open view of the street and the shops. They are definitely going for the LUX vibe. Just wish they cared more for comfort. In my opinion, I think that the beds are the most important part of a hotel. If the beds are bad, then I am not staying there again. I loved their little game room in their loft. They had board games and a small library. Beautiful decorations. Quiet as well as felt safe. Would recommend for children.

The hotel was beautiful, however , 2 plugs didn’t work in our room. Had basic cable with only a couple of Chanel’s and no movie options. Not a lot to do in this town and we wanted to relax. Really need smart TVs so that customers could log into their own accounts. Overall, we left a night early and chose a hotel further in to the city so that we could lay in bed and watch movies. Personal preferences yes, but we would have liked to stay. Price was right for what was offered.

Check- in and check-out was very easy. The staff at front desk and house keeping were very polite and friendly. The hotel was very cleand and amenities were satisfactory. Only saw little trash outside hotel on the way to banquet parking. Our 5 day stay was a very pleasant one.
