Trying to be honest with this review. The hotel itself is charming, the restaurant and bar staff are exceptional, the doormen and bellmen are amazing however the front staff our awful and quite frankly unacceptable. It is unacceptable to walk up to a front desk and have the person look at you, not even smile and ignore you. This happened every time we went to the front desk. The acted like we were annoying them. For this simple fact we will not be returning....ever. Additionally the room I reserved was not the room I received based on the front desk experience I chose to not complain knowing I would never return. The rooms are charming, the AC took 12 hours to cool off the room. The bathrooms were spacious and great water pressure. The restaurant food is great, the ambiance is perfection.

Looks are deceiving. Stay anywhere else.
Hotel Santuario photos are lovely but . . looks are deceiving. The hotel prioritizes large commercial wedding and religious bookings over other guests. On the second night of our stay, Santuario booked a large American wedding, which prevented any guests from using the only restaurant and bar during the entire day of the wedding (Saturday) and congested its only common area with preparations. That night the hotel turned over its central courtyard, to which all rooms are exposted, to a deafening wedding DJ who played earsplitting 80s rock into the night. I called to ask how long the party would last (taking place just outside our windows in a hotel seemingly constructed of papier mache where every sound, cough, bathroom use, or conversation can be heard), and was told that it would end by 10PM. It didn't. I finally went down to speak with management and was told that no hotel representatives were available who spoke English. The party continued with shouting, screaming, drunken wedding guests for another two hours. We literally could not carry on a conversation let alone sleep. The next afternoon, the hotel booked an Eastern religious group to chant/sing the same Buddhist chant for hours in the common area, making any room use again impossible as every note of the repetitious chanting by dozens of worshippers penetrated the rooms. One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a hotel. Avoid.
