I made a reservation for 7 nights at this property. The pictures were beautiful and I thought, hmmm a capsule, this should be a unique experience. I walked in and walked right back out. There is no way in hell, I could have stayed there. I was given a cubicle, lying room only on the second level. There is no room for you move around. There is no standing room. I couldn’t get up to the capsule because there was a thin ladder that was very flimsy and unstable. The attendant had to climb up and open the “literal capsule” for me to jump to get a look in. There is no garden!! You are in a dark room with about 12 other capsules. I grabbed my luggage and went back to the front desk and told them I can’t stay here. A plus, she did offer me a capsule on the ground level. I asked for a partial refund and was told I have to speak with Expedia who l booked it through. It has been 8 days. I checked in and checked out of a nearby hotel and have not had a response from the capsule nor Expedia. This is false advertising on a whole other level. Run away as fast as you can. I have lost all my money since no one is responding.

I booked it because coming from Cairo Egypt I needed a layover. I saw they had a hot tub and was needing to relax after a strenuous 12 days in Egypt. Upon arrival the hot tubs have been removed apparently a couple years ago so it was kind of pointless I could have booked a hotel and relaxed in a hot bath

This was the first time using the capsule hotel. I was traveling with three other very picky people that were weary of using it. We were all very pleased with the stay in every aspect. It was especially nice not having to be in a hurry to get to the airport. Thanks for making four 60 folks feel right at home.

I absolutely loved the convince of the location and the method and idea behind the capsule hotel. Clean stylish a very modem good service “ youth hostel “. What I didn’t like was the common sense and curtesy of some guest regarding being more quiet in and around there capsule.

It was my first time staying in a Capsule Hotel. The hosts were kind and helpful. The whole facility was clean and quiet. I did hear my neighbors a couple times, but it was muffled and only during typical waking hours. There were plenty of showers and toilets and I really appreciated the safety of female only sleeping areas. I will definitely chose this option, again.

There's nothing like waking up and being able to walk across the street to the Zurich Airport security line. That took away a lot of the stress of travelling. It was also an interesting experience to sleep in a "room" that is the size of your bed, but I'm not sure I'd want to do it again. The showers were clean, and it was nice to be able to stretch out in the reception area. It was also generally quiet, but you can hear others' capsule doors opening and closing at all hours.

If you are leaving Zurich airport early in the morning or arriving late in the evening, then the Capsule hotel is great. The location cannot be beat. It is right across from check-in terminal 1 (Swiss Air). The shower was great and there are a good number of them. I do not like the capsules, however. I left my door open a crack so I would not feel like I was in a sensory depravation chamber. I wish that I could have had control over the ventilation. The capsules are pitch dark, when the lights are out, and you are given a pair of earplugs. That doesn’t help when someone climbs into the upper capsule, slams the door and the whole unit shakes. Personally, I prefer hostels with bunk beds. If I hadn’t had a flight, I would have stayed at the Old Town Hostel Otter. They have privacy curtains on the bunk beds, which are much less claustrophobia inducing.
