The young man at the desk was polite, friendly and helpful. There was a medical emergency with another couple and we went to the desk to call an ambulance. He was very prompt and called for help and managed the situation. Unfortunately the man died of a heart attack in his room.
The tall woman at the desk was unfriendly with a smile. If not for her I would have given the service 4 stars. There was a basket of candy and a cake with a knife at the counter and NO sign saying there was a charge. So we had a candy bar and and one slice of cake and through video surveillance, she told us the next day we had to pay for those items. On our departure then next morning, we were changed for a cup of coffee. In America those are always complimentary! I do not recommend Harry's Home.
This place is no where near the uptown area of Zurich and you must use an expensive taxi or the tram that does stop in front of the hotel. We took the tram and had to switch to a train to get to uptown. Very confusing not knowing what platform to be on to get back so we relied on others to help use navigate.
