Generally a nice hotel friendly staff, easy access. Liked the coffee station in the lobby as well as a library of left books in many languages. One bad was a terrible smell emanating from the shower drain. Closed the shower door which helped some, but with the room layout a little difficult to escape completely.

Check in was good, however the overall experience with this hotel especially given the price was quite poor. The lobby had this really bad smell. There was no requirement to tap your keycard in the elevator which meant that anyone could enter the hotel. In terms of the room the bed is pretty uncomfortable and same with the pillows. Both the hand wash and shower wash soaps were completely empty while entering the room which is quite sad considering this should be filled every time. Another problem was the air conditioning. It would not start at all, we even followed the guidance to close all windows and doors (which we did) and it still would not start. Other than this there were no other amenities in the room. What was good was the checkin since it was convenient, and close to the reception they provide you with complimentary water dispenser and coffee machine. Otherwise the stay at this location is definitely not worth the price, try and find somewhere different if you have a similar budget.

My favorite hotel in Zurich in this price range!
Very nice in the price range compared to other hotels in Zurich. I've been to Zurich multiple times and have stayed in about 8 different hotels in this price range and this is by far my favorite. Great amenities, close to the main train station and old town and the beds are comfortable. Highly recommend
