We hadn't heard of Aachen or Motel One until we started looking at christmas markets,and I've got to say what a fantastic city and hotel . the christmas market is probably half a mile away at most so well within walking distance,around the cathedral. I could definitely recommend both the city and hotel to anyone wanting to visit a European christmas market

Nice hotel with great lounge and bar. Small but comfortable room. Great location; especially for the Christmas market and only 10 minutes walk from the station. Did a great day trip to Monschau from here.

Good hotel in convenient location for centre of Aa
Hotel is fine and in a good location. Check in can be long depnding in what time you get there. Lower floor was a litte noisy due to proximity to road outside. Genrally good though.

Tight, cozy room, but modern, neat and clean. Perfectly quiet and dark throughout the night. Cool, hip public areas. Warm, friendly staff. Continently located. Walkable to train station, historic sites, and thermal spa.

The hotel itself is quite average, but the location is fantastic. It’s situated in a vibrant area with plenty of excellent restaurants within walking distance. While the hotel amenities are basic, the convenience and quality of the surrounding eateries make up for it. Overall, a decent place to stay if you prioritize location and dining options. However, keep in mind that essential items like a dental kit and room slippers are not provided.

The hotel was clean and comfortable in a pleasant part of the city, a short walk to many historic areas. The staff were helpful and friendly. However, there was no kettle in the room and although my travelling companion said this was becoming more frequent in Europe, i was a bit disappointed; an Englishwoman MUST have her tea!

The location, on the edge of the historic city, was perfect. Easily walkable to everything. Beautiful lobby/restaurant. Rooms are somewhat small, but practical storage areas & room for hanging some clothes. Beds very comfortable. Be aware that there is no coffee maker, water or glasses in the room.
