Some issues but overall our stay was great
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWhen we arrived the house was not cleaned. We got ahold of Jacob and he was able to have someone come and clean the house that evening. Overall our stay was great. Will definitely be staying again when we come back!

Decently Priced - Great View
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe spent 4 days and 3 nights here with a party of 8. The yard is big so there is plenty of room for parking. The house is a good size and the outdoor screen room/decks were nice! The view was very nice as well! The guest house is cute and the perfect size for a couple or a family with a small child. Overall we had a great time but I do have a few recommendations:
1. Upon entrance the door was jammed and we had issues getting it open and closed so we used the side entrance the entire time.
2. You could tell the house had been closed up but febreeze helped immediately. So some kind of humidifier or something like that would work great.
3. There were no sheets to be found for the pull-out couch in the livingroom so adding those would be nice for future guests.
4. There was very limited towels. I believe there was 6 towels in the main house and then 3 towels in the guest house. A few extra towels would have been much appreciated.
5. The bed in the guest house is in dire need of being changed! This is hoenstly the only bad thing I can say about the place but it was tolerable.
6. The top light to go down to the dock would not work and there are no lights in the yard to help with visibility. However, there is a light that is halfway down the steps that did work.
7. Be aware that there are 83 steps down to the dock and 83 steps back up!
Overall the place was nice but it could use some updating and a few more things to have made the stay more accommodating..

Trip to Eufaula

40th Birthday Vacay!
Publié le 17 juin 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family and I enjoyed our stay while we fished Lake Eufaula. The grass was tall when we got there Friday night but it was cut by the time we came back Saturday night, we were thankful for that. The dining area and living room area in the main house fit all of us perfectly. The little side house fit the family of 4 perfectly. The walk down and up to the dock is quite exhausting but we all did it many times. As per the other reviews it did have a shut up kind of musty smell to it. We sprayed air freshener to make it better. Overall we would definitely stay there again if we had the chance.

Great get away
Publié le 12 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayHad a blast. We brought our boat but caught so many fish from the dock. Only downside is if you have elderly people staying the stairs down to the dock are a good way down.

A disaster
Publié le 1 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayI told the owner we were coming to fish; I saw the pictures of the nice dock. When we get there, we go to the dock to fish and the dock is infested with Spiders to the point the next Morning we went and got sprays to kill them 4 cans now and the spider's situation continued to get worse, so we packed up and left and went down to lake point to rent a pontoon to fish that cost us another 300 dollars

We apologize for your experience. We have been in touch with our pest control company and we are looking at eco friendly ways to treat the pest on the dock. They take care of our entire property and believe they have a solution for this.

Would be fabulous with a few changes
Publié le 4 sept. 2023 sur HomeAwayOver all ok really needs some updating furniture in living room 1970. Has a old closed up smell. Had to burn candles. Need to hook up ice maker. You have to go buy ice. The living room part is very hot. Part built on and air does not work properly. But over all I would go back again.
