The Bredalbane Arms, is definitely one of the poorest hotels I have stayed in. The level of service was poor especially on arrival where the receptionist couldn't even be bothered to get out of her chair in the office to check us in. It was sloppy and unprofessional. Our room was adequate. The hotel was able to provide an iron but no ironing board. If you are going to operate as a hotel then you also need to provide catering. We did find a lovely restaurant called The Three Lemons which was value for money and had the pizza ever

Hi Steven, thanks for your review.We do not advertise offering a restaurant, indeed we make it very clear that the hotel is room-only - it's right there in the name of the hotel, so if this was not your preference then you had the opportunity to book elsewhere before choosing to stay with us.Our reservations team need to sit at the computer to check you in, as this hosts our reservations system. They would have needed to stand up and approach you in order to give you the key, so your statement doesn't make much sense.We do have ironing boards at the hotel. If the one in your room was missing, we would gladly have offered you a replacement, if asked, however you did not make that request.Many thanks.

Looked clean but on deeper inspection lacked attention to detail. Staff friendly. Fine for what I needed.

Might not suit everyone due to no bar or any meals, but the website makes this clear. Works for me for a basic room.

Room was basic but had everything I needed, bed was clean and comfortable, bathroom was very clean with towels and toiletries supplied.
