The biggest gripe I have is no counter for makeup in the bathroom. Also, we only received coffee and granola bar on the first day. Had to call for coffee and bars. Have never experienced this kind of service before. Also, our tv didn’t get any local channels and was unless to us. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The pillows left a lot to be desired.

Hi Carol, I'm sorry to hear you found the accommodations only okay. We are a boutique hotel that offers guests total privacy during their stay by not entering their room. I am only a phone call or text away for requests such as yours. The smart tvs in each room do offer some free channels and the most popular apps for guests to log into their accounts. Each bed has four king size pillows, I will definitely check the room you stayed in to see if the pillows are of concern.

This property is an historic home that has been converted into 5 bedrooms, large bathroom and a kitchen area with a dorm size refrigerator, microwave and Kureg coffee maker.
The property is located right in the center of town.
Walk to places to eat, etc.
It is right on the Tammany Trace if you want to bike ride or go on a shady walk.
I rented a bike from Brooks Bikes.

My stay at the Abita Springs Hotel was lovely. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean; easy access to the room using a keypad. Cute garden and porch with rocking chairs. Very easy to park, and great dining options in walking distance (Abita beer pub and Abita cafe). Also great access to the Tammany trail - 30 min walk to the Abita Brewey! Awesome location away from the chaos.
