Nice but the place needs maintenance
Publié le 23 oct. 2024 sur HotelsThe pool area is really nice, and the gym is really well equipped for a hotel gym. The staff were also all very nice, and the food was good (though wait times were slow, we waited over an hour for two club sandwiches when we were the only people at the pool area).
The issue we had was that the room smelled really bad of mould, as did the corridors on the 8th floor. And overall the place needs to be maintained better. The tap in the kitchen was rusty and paint flaking off, there were cracks around the aircon vents. There were marks from years of wear & tear on the kitchen cupboards. The wallpaper was peeling off in the bedrooms. I think the place could do with a refresh, redecorate them, add more ventilation in the rooms to stop the mould.

This hotel walks the talk. It is truly "The Number One". Good location, friendly and helpful stuff, hotel is clean at all times, quiet, all amenities works. I felt safe at all times. Beautiful view. Beautiful hotel inside and out. The attention to details is wow. Meals were good. Any hotel less than the standard of "The Number One Oxford Street" is currently now a problem for me. I will always come back and I will always recomend this hotel. Thanks to all the staff for amazing experience.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel, I was in Ghana for a lovely two week cultural experience and traveled to different areas throughout the stay.
In the last 4 nights I decided to stay here to enjoy a bit of luxury. The staff were all pleasant and helpful, very accommodating. I felt safe and comfortable which is important to me as I travels as a single female.
I enjoyed the buffet breakfast and dinner choices. The butler service was also excellent. I also had a massage on my last day.
Thanks to the staff for making the ending to such an extraordinary trip in Ghana so relaxing.
