Maison avec terrasse . Vue magnifique sans vis à vis
Publié le 23 juill. 2023 sur HomeAwayLa maison de ville est très agréable et dispose d'une grande terrasse dominant la mer 150m plus bas. La climatisation fonctionne parfaitement (appréciable sous 40 degrés). Mario met à disposition tout ce dont on peut avoir (des cuillères en bois pour la cuisine serait un plus 😀). L'emplacement à Acireale est parfait : dans le centre mais très au calme (le bar avec terrasse en dessous était fermé pour tout l'été).

The townhouse is very pleasant and has a large terrace overlooking the sea 150m below. The air conditioning works perfectly (appreciable under 40 degrees). Mario provides everything you can have (wooden spoons for the kitchen would be a plus 😀). The location in Acireale is perfect: in the center but very quiet (the bar with terrace below was closed for the whole summer).

Thank you very much Michele and Marc, the house was left very clean and the plants on the terrace watered, thank you very much for taking care of everything including the complicated local system of recycling and disposal of rubbish.
We’ll take notice of your feedback and include wooden spoons, we actually removed them because previous clients requested silicon spoons as more hygienic in their opinion. We’ll give the choice to future clients to use the ones they feel more comfortable with for cooking in the kitchen.

Hébergement très agreable

Superbe terrasse avec vue sur la mer.
Environnement effectivement un peu bruyant (cloches de l'église voisine- on s'habitue..!- et surtout bar sur la place, MAIS nous étions prévenus et des bouchons d'oreilles sont prevus.
La mer LA plus proche est une plage de rochers, LA baignade n'est donc pas forcément très accessible pour les enfants ou les personnes âgées.
Propriétaire très réactif par mail, qui nous a donné de très nombreux conseils avisés de visites et de commodités.
Hébergement à recommander !

Wonderful stay and host!
Publié le 19 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had a lovely stay this summer at Mario’s place. The house was very clean and comfortable, with an amazing view of the sea. We loved the balcony off kitchen, and the location of the house central to main square in town and the path down to the sea. The kitchen was well equipped and we were pleasantly surprised with the A/C in the bedrooms and kitchen area. Mario was a very thoughtful and responsive host, answering questions promptly about recommendations and logistics and providing us a few food items to get us started (milk, butter, coffee etc) and some local bakery treats. Acireale is well located to exploring Mt.Etna and vicinity.

Mitten drin und doch entrückt
Publié le 30 mai 2024 sur HomeAwayEigentlich liegt das Ferienhaus ganz zentral, wenige Minuten vom schönen Piazza Duomo entfernt. Und doch am Stadtrand mit schönem Meerblick von der Dachterrasse aus. Und diese sorgt auch dafür, dass man der reubeligen, lebhaften Stadt entrückt ist, wenn man gemütlich sitzt und den Ausblick genießt.
Wir hatten 12 wunderschöne Tag, wozu auch dieses Haus und der nette, zuvorkommende Kontakt mit Mario beigetragen haben.
Alles war gut, die Fotos entsprechen die Realität. Wir sind ungern abgereist.

Publié le 20 avr. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy adult daughter and I stayed at Mario's place and it truly was a delightful place to stay! The home has three levels with the first one having a spacious entryway and a very large bedroom with additional couch which I also believe can be a bed, along with a full bathroom. The second floor has two bedrooms and full bathroom, which is where we stayed. It's very unique as it has one main entry door but two rooms within in it, each with a separate door and again, a full bathroom. The upper level is absolutely amazing! It has another bathroom with shower and a beautiful kitchen with a spectacular patio that wraps around one side of the home. The views of the sea, church, and sunrise are stunning! We utilized the patio every day, several times a day!! We did drive here from Siracusa, just have to be aware that the streets in Acireale are narrow but can be navigated by properly allowing enough room for tight turns. Mario does have a dedicated parking space out front to park your car which is where it stayed the remaining part of our stay until we left. We walked all around Acireale, and even the streets that are narrow without much sidewalk can be easily walked by being in the street and staying close to the parked cars. This is truly how the locals do it, even with kids! There are several farmer's stand and stores within a 10-15 walk. Mario left us some welcome and departing goodies which were awesome!! Highly recommend staying here!!

You were the perfect guests, the house was left spotlessly clean when you checked out and the goodies you left in the fridge were very much appreciated.
I want to thank you very much for being aware of the environment and using only just the spaces, towels and rooms you needed even if you had the whole house at your disposal. For your kind words I understand you were still very comfortable.
We appreciate as well the description of the area, it does reflect the way of life in an old town with cultural and architectural differences. You adapted perfectly to our historical neighbourhood.
We do hope to welcome you again in the future. Every season has its unique attractions and experiences.

Acireale und die Ostküste
Publié le 27 oct. 2023 sur HomeAwayUnser Aufenthalt in der Ferienwohnug war wunderschön; wir hatten einen ausgezeichneten Blick aufs Meer. Die Wohnung erhielt alle notwendigen Einruchtungsgegenstände; insbesondere die Küche war sehr gut ausgerüstet. Mario, der Hauseigentümer hat uns zusätzlich mit schönen sizilianischen Aufmerksamkeiten verwöhnt. Die Altstadt von Acireale mit ihrem schönem Dom u anderen prächtigen Gebäuden war in unmittelbarer Nähe u gut fussläufig erreichbar.Auch die Restaurants u Bars waren gut. Unsere Ausflüge nach Siracusa/Noto/Taormina/ Catania waren wunderschön! Entweder mit der Bahn o durch einen großartigen Fahrer, der uns stressfrei durch die guten, aber lebhaften sizialinischen Straßen führte.
