I thank you for the short and kind review. I wish this can attract us more expedia booking.. Book this owner managed establishment. Make sure you meet me Archie. We are on a private eco reserve with strict entry rules and curfews, allowing us to be 10% crime free. Follow our directions on all our websites and social media pages which will safely take you to us. Let us fetch and return you to Port Elizabeth Airport. We are of the grid and also do our own water treatment Allow us to showcase you our main attraction Addo elephant National Park and its dynamics. Combine it with a Private Game reserve Schotia, their Tooth and Claw Safari. The combination, being Malaria free, is by far superior to any in the Eastern Cape. Our inhouse chef will spoil you with traditional South African Mothers food. We cater for any dietary requirements You will not regret booking Hitgeheim and the recommended safaris. A great place if you want to be 'off grid' for a bit. Lovely location and accommodation with great wide views. All the staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. Our evening meals were faultless. We are happy to recommend and hope to return again one day. We would suggest of if you are want to do a trip into Addo Elephant Park with the lodge, that you book in advance. However, we went on the trip with Schotia Game reserve which was very good, which the lodge can organise for you.

The staff here are on a par with global industry leaders. The service is considerate and attentive without harrassment. They are knowledgable, friendly and efficient. The food is fantastic and allows the experience of the culture. Accomodation was superb, views for miles. Cannot rate highly enough (I work in this industry so have experienced many top hotels, this is right up there but also offers excellent value for money)
