Off Grid tranquility
Publié le 13 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWhat a beautiful place. After coming home from a long day in the Adelaide Hills we were greeted by the friendly live stock. Then settling in for a quiet night in front of a cosy fire. We will definitely be back and also recommend it to our friends.

Bella Vista Farm House certainly is the place if you are looking for tranquility!! Nothing quite beats driving up the long driveway with the animals waiting by the fence & settling in for the night by the fire.

House has all possible homely comforts, quality furniture and bedding, but most of all, a massive fireplace with ample wood with views to die for.

A weekend is not long enough!

The house is absolutely beautiful with massive, well laid out rooms.
All the rooms had a view that you could find a sun filled spot inside and just watch the world and the animals go bye!
Highly recommend staying longer than just a weekend.

Open fire , plenty of wood supplied by hosts
Quiet peaceful and lots of animals even a couple kangaroos said hello !
Only thing I could recommend is a couple dishwashing tablets for each day and some floor mats / shower
Heating is only the open fire as the air con can’t be used due to solar powered house only
A back up little fan heater would be ideal if power source could handle it

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay, our property is listed as off grid which means the large fireplace & 2nd combustion heater with the amount of firewood supplied is generally sufficient heating as well as a wonderful experience- we do make guests well aware of our heating and cooling at the time of booking and if you do follow our recommendations will keep you cozy and warm.
