Bohemian Beach Bliss 1 mins walk to the beach and 3 mins to Sema4 shops!

Located in one of the most popular seaside suburbs, only 5 houses from the Semaphore beach and less than 5 minutes walk to Semaphore Road where there are more than 15 restaurants with as many different cultural cuisines. There are over ten cafes, two supermarkets, one open from 7am to 10pm and a major iconic cinema screening the latest films.
If you enjoy to shop for antics, second hand furniture, retro clothes, records and/or 'opshop' clothes you are in the right place. Between Semaphore and Port Adelaide there are 6 "op shops". There's a retro furnature and homeware warehouse, beautiful gift shops and more!
There are free electric bikes that can be accessed through the Semaphore Library. Locks and helmets are included.
Across the Port River is the historic Port Adelaide. It has guided walks that inform and entertain the participants. There are several art galleries and a variety of bricBrac and "every thing from the past" shops.
If you are more nature orietated enjoy the a cruise down the Port River till you meet the sea. Or you can hire canoes and have tranquility amongst our playful dolphins.
Next to the Birkenhead bridge a market that just about sells everything from 9am to 4pm Saturdays and Sundays.
On Sundays from 7am to midday Torrens Island has an open fruit and veg market plus fresh fish sold straight off the boats from the previous night's catch.
'The SA Museum' makes South Australian history fun as well as educational with interactive displays, a life size installation of a typical convict ship that carried convicts to SA after 1836, sound scapes, video, film and more.
Theres shopping at its best in the newly extended and modernised Port Mall Shopping Centre or if you want to venture into the bright lights of the city of Adelaide its only 16 minute express train ride.
If you wish to have the pool area just to yourself it's possible to book it in advance for $100 for the day.
please note there is a $40 fee r for each extra guest after 2 however if an extra bedroom is used the $40 fee will be added even if there are only 2 guests.

It was exactly as it was pictured and described & so much more the pool area was a beautiful place to relax and the quirkiness of the properly was so interesting & it’s walking distance to every thing you need & the beach 😊 we will stay again

Visual Feast

From the moment you walk in the door there is a visual feast. Quirky and retro. Monica is friendly and accommodating. Enjoyed the outdoor seating area in the evening and morning where you are protected by the shade and can watch the world go by. Everything you need is here. 2 min walk to the beach and main thoroughfare. Absolutely silent at night and the beds are so comfy. We’ll be back!!

This house is definitely one out of the box.. quirky, retro, amusing, intriguing.. loved it. From the beautiful lights around the pool at night to the flash back 60’s furniture and decor. The bed was comfortable and bathroom clean and tidy. Host was very pleasant and was at the ready to help. Everything you needed was close by , beach, shops restaurants. Recommended

Terrible experience very dirty, bug's in couch, sadistic ornament against Jesus Christ and on Top of that found a used needle in room where 9 yr old was going to sleep in, never again.

Quirky Beach Stay

Property was very comfortable for 5 adults. Decor eclectic and very interesting! There were nice retro touches throughout. Beds comfortable, and host very friendly, helpful and approachable. Perfectly located for our purpose.Close to amenities. Upstairs bedroom is great but compromised by the spiral staircase. Bathroom downstairs.

Honestly cannot recommend

We really wanted to love this, but although we love the neighbourhood, and the eclectic nature of the property, the house did not feel clean or safe and did not match the description. Apart from a musty smell throughout, one of the kitchen cabinets was full of rubbish. The pool was full of leaves. One of the beds had a rusty screw on it. The upstairs balcony door opened directly onto a rooftop with no railing. The owner responded slowly, and would not assist us in cancelling the booking, or respond realistically to our complaints (eg the door to the roof could be locked if we wanted - however we wanted airflow as the property was very musty). We elected to stay elsewhere and would strongly advise all others to do the same.

Fun quirky place

This place certainly filled the fun character shown in the photos… the decor is quite quirky. The owner was very helpful and communicated very well, she helped with a couple of queries and very accepting of last minute dog to stay. Great location.

This is a fun, quirky property. Lots of colour, hand paintings and crafts. But all facilities are functional and more than comfortable. We had some minor logistical issues but the landlord resolved them quickly, so all good. A bit far from the city, but a great place for a getaway.

Beach Blissed

We loved it! Spacious, unique with plenty of treasures and garden nooks. Monica has thought of everything, a real home away from home. Beach bliss is right, even my dog, with lots of beach walks with the beach being so close. Highly recommend. We will be back. Thanks.

My friend & I enjoyed a comfortable, easy stay. Great location for wandering around the Semaphore area. Monica was welcoming, friendly & very helpful. A house full of wonderful artwork & things to catch the eye. The hot water bottles provided were very welcome on a cold weekend.

Just stayed here for two nights, myself and other friends couldn’t have picked a better place and loved everything about it! Short break

The property was well presented and the heating had been put on to warm the space. Kitchen facilities very basic but sufficient for a short stay. Close to the beach and ideal for enjoying a stroll to the Semaphore cafe strip. Our dog was welcome which allowed us to relax and enjoy the short break.

Quirky and spacious, interesting and funky Great spacious upstairs bedroom with magical spiral staircase, secluded balcony and property but close to beach shops and seaside sanctuary. Authentic retro fittings and genuine attention to 20th century era...mini art gallery adds expression and atmosphere. Coming again, when possible. Thanks Monica.
