Farm stay with alpacas at your doorstep

We have a 50 acre property, the farm house is completely separate to the main house, you will have your own space but we are close by if needed. We breed alpacas and currently have approx 20 on our property, we also have sheep and a small dog. You are welcome to walk around our property and visit the alpacas, they are very friendly and will come to the gate to say hello. You have a lovely deck overlooking the paddocks and can sit out there with a glass of wine and watch the alpacas.

We had a truely delightful stay at the B and B homestead,upon arrival we were welcomed by the stunning property exactly as described on the website. It was decided to spend the first day in pure relaxation taking in the peaceful surroundings while watching the Alpacas, sheep and corellas feed on the bottle brush trees. We enjoyed the tranquility of it all. Our host was incredibly friendly and greeted us upon arrival making sure we felt right at home. Tho location itself is perfect- nestled in the heart of the Barossa Valley, surrounded by wineries and charming near by towns. It truely offered us a great taste of the best the region has to offer. Highly recommend to anyone who are looking to unwind in a beautiful serene setting.

Home Away From Home
Thank you Tracy and Chris, it was wonderful to stay at your property, peaceful and quiet, great quality beds and the couch was heavenly. Lovely view out the windows, the alpacas so sweet, their eyes amazing. Great size TV (would love to have one that size). Also visited the sheep, they all came over to say hello. Loved watching your little dog zooming around the property. All in All we had a wonderful time and the filtered water lovely to drink. Even saw a kangaroo in your driveway during the day. Wonderful weekend getaway
Everything about this place was wonderful. Great location, private (surprisingly so given the hosts live on the property), quiet and peaceful, and the accommodation itself was very clean and comfortable. It was delightful to be able to go for a wander and meet the neighbours (alpacas) as well. Tracy and Chris were both lovely, and excellent hosts. Will definitely visit again!

Organized 5 night trip for my daughter and her friend for their 21st Bday present. They both have had such a peaceful holiday after Uni exams. Great Anniversary stay
We chose Adelaide for our 25 Wedding anniversary. Chris and Tracy's property was a home away from home and a good location for lots of attractions in and around the Barossa. Highly recommend for a relaxing and peaceful stay.

Best of everything
This was absolutely wonderful and you could not ask for nicer or more accommodating hosts. It was whatever you want in a holiday - a quiet getaway with no one to bother you or an involved experience around the farm and not too far from Mt Pleasant or Birdwood if you needed to get anything. Cannot give it a high enough tick.

Perfect getaway!
My partner and I had a lovely stay at Aurora Sky Alpacas! The whole property is beautiful, and the house is spacious and comfortable with everything you need. We felt very spoilt staying there just the two of us! The deck was perfect to sit out on with dinner and a wine. And the extra touches like having the fire lit before we arrived, and the complementary bacon and eggs to cook for breakfast was an added bonus. Tracey and Chris are the perfect hosts, and we can’t wait to get back to the farm 😊

Getaway in the Hills
The property was quiet and spacious, perfect for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of life. We enjoyed a fire on the cold nights, and meals on the deck when the sun came out. Tracey and Chris were friendly and welcoming, ensuring our firewood was kept topped up and introducing us to their beautiful alpacas. We had a lovely time and would definitely stay again.

Cozy winter farmstay
We were looking for something relaxing and a little different for a winter mini-break, and our farmstay at Aurora Sky Alpacas didn't disappoint. Chris and Tracy were great hosts and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, especially the chance to feed the alpacas. The accommodation was clean and cozy, the wood fire kept us warm until morning and the beds were very comfortable. We loved the surrounding scenery and enjoyed a wander to see the alpacas and kangaroos. Great memories made and we look forward to another visit. Thanks Chris and Tracy!
