Lovely family getaway

Travelling with a young family we appreciated the books, toys, high chair, portacot, laundry and all the kids friendly kitchen items. Close to shops and restaurants and park too. Very easy place to holiday and we all felt right at home.

Will definitely stay again

Linda, the host, was fantastic to deal with and responded to any queries we had promptly and in a very friendly manner. The property was clean, very comfortable, exactly as it is depicted in the ad and in a brilliant location. Thank you for a really great stay.

Linda was great with her communication and instructions.

Thanks Anthony. Glad you enjoyed your stay and found the location convenient. Notes for future guests: city is about 12mins drive. Closest beach is Semaphore beach about 30mins drive. Glenelg beach is about 37mins drive from the home. As Anthony pointed out, there's lots of local food options within walking distance and a supermarket open until 11pm most days for your convenience! Exactly as expected
Publié le 30 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayThe place isn’t flashy and feels more like a motel than a house but it was perfectly comfortable and a good place to use as a base while staying in Adelaide.
We only slept there, spending the day time elsewhere.
It was clean and had all the bare necessities.
My only complaints were the use of sheets instead of proper doona covers (I understand it’s probably easier for cleaners but it’s a much worse experience to sleep in) and no fly screens on the windows so after a hot day we had to use air con rather than let the nice cool air in because of mosquitoes (and the aircon would randomly turn off after a time - but that might be a setting issue).
The location isn’t anything amazing but it was near where we needed to be so worked well for us.
The house was what we expected from reading the description and reviews and we would stay again.

Good to hear what we provided was as per your expectations based on the listing description provided. We do our best for each and every guest so it means a lot. Yes, bed and bath linen hire is included in all bookings. Since Covid, we have decided to provide crisp, white hotel quality sheets that is commercially laundered and pressed. The company we use provides for some of the best hotels in Adelaide as well, so it should give you that holiday feeling. Whilst it is not as homely as a quilt or doona cover, it ensures the linen is durable enough to withstand very hot washing and processing temperatures for the best level of hygiene and safety for our guests.
