Quiet Thanksgiving Get-away
Publié le 11 déc. 2024 sur HomeAwayWas familiar with the area as owned hunting land just north of Ross Lake for 13 years. Did not know about this quiet little lake.
Very well-maintained, well-equipped year-round cabin / home. Was especially cold during our stay, but cabin heated up very nicely.
Lake maybe not visible during summer months as per other reviews, but great view in the winter!
Great location from which to head to Crosby, Cross Lake, Emily & Outing. The kitchen was well equipped for our meal preparation. A very enjoyable trip.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
Publié le 13 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a great cabin for a short weekend getaway from the Twin Cities. A quiet cabin off the lake, we saw deer and lots of birds. We heard moose and other animals across lake. The sunrise over the lake was beautiful. The owner Dave was highly responsive and super friendly. Highly recommend this place for your next getaway!

Amazing getaway
Publié le 9 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayMy family had a wonderful stay at the cabin! The property was so beautiful and had all of the amenities you could want or need. We had non stop fun fishing off the dock, taking the pontoon out and evening fires - would 100% stay again!

Great vacation home experience

Wonderful place and fun fishing
Publié le 30 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe place was great. Had everything you needed. My son loves to fish so we spent a lot of time on the pontoon. We caught a ton of fish, and kept 10 for a meal. A limetless supply of 7-10in Perch, smaller Bass, Bullhead, and a few nice Sunfish. The house is secluded and peaceful, and we only saw 2 other boats on the lake during our entire stay.

Amazing private retreat

Great Rental
Publié le 29 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThis was a great rental. The cabin has lots of space, the lake is a bit weedy by the dock but we took the pontoon out and swam/floated in the lake. The swimming platform was so fun for the kids to jump off of. The best well stocked rental we have EVER stayed in. Extra towels, bedding, kitchen was amazing. Very private yet not too far from town if you needed anything. Dave was a great host, provided all information needed and ideas of what to do in the area as well.
