Publié le 27 juill. 2023 sur HotelsSuper séjour , belle et grande maison accueillante . L’hôtesse est très prévenante et répond à toutes les questions . Chambre et salle de bain au top. Petit déjeuner extra, varié et avec des pâtisseries faites maison. Si je repasse par la , j’y retournerai avec plaisir.

Hi Nicki don't know why you are giving us review because you didn't stay here! You came 1 and a half hours before check in and i was cleaning the house and said to you that you could check in after 1 and a half hour, at check in time. Then you never show up so if you feel better doing this, then ok :) Wish you good stay in Iceland. Best greetings Þóra at GVG

Best place to stay in Akureyri
Publié le 3 juill. 2024 sur HotelsThe stay is in the host's house which is new and immaculate. They are very friendly. The view out the front window is amazing. The photos simple don't do this place justice as everything is so nice and well decorated. The beds were the most comfortable of the 6 different places we stayed in Iceland. The hosts make quite a nice breakfast every morning with many choices. They own a few horses and we got to see a foal while we were there. For the price, this is an exceptional value and a great stay for those traveling the Ring Road. You will not get this combination of great features in any other stay in this price range.

The hosts were amazing. Kind, attentive and caring. Delicious homemade breakfast. The great room is so perfect to take in the view. And finally, Ivar’s recommended sightseeing were the cherry on the cake.

It was the best hotel of our iceland trip. Very nice room with a hot tub. The house is so nice and the host is very gentle. We had luck, we stayed 2 nights here!

We arrived to a private home. Waited 10 min or so as the owner/managers we grocery shopping. They arrived and were very nice. We then find out our room is just a tiny bedroom in someone's house without a view and a cat was on our bed. Hubby is allergic! None of this disclosed on listing. We ended up having to drive 1 hour away and pay 2x to sleep last night. Not happy at all.
