Avis Gardenside Getaway - Your home away from home in Alabaster

Let me start by saying I knew better to book this property because it didn’t have any reviews. Where do I begin? For starters, I walked into the house and several lights were blown. The main light in the living room and also a few bathroom lights. I contacted them about it and the host response was "she didn’t have a ladder to change them" ok cool .. next issue was the Wi-Fi password they presented did not work so no one’s device could use Wi-Fi. Next was the hot water… the first night I had to boil water to take a bath because the shower water was ice cold and never turned hot… and the last issue was THE AIR! Me and my family spent a day and a half without air and when asked for a picture of the thermostat by the host, it was 80 degrees in the house!!! Everyone was sweating and we had to open doors and windows just to feel a breeze. A mechanic didn’t come until we checked out Sunday morning. The host instructed us at 7pm that night to go find a hotel if we were so hot. I wouldn’t recommend because of the customer service the host provided. She acted as if she didn’t really care about our concerns and that hurt my feelings the most. Never had a problem like this!!!
