The Great Room is the focal point of this mountain retreat and separate living spaces make this the perfect home for multiple families or generations vacationing together. Plenty of tables and chairs for indoor and outdoor dining. The gourmet kitchen has two ovens, a gas stove, a large bar, double sinks and plenty of dishes and cookware for you to cook for a large party. Soak up the cool sunshine and unwind in this secluded, one of a kind home. Sitting atop 38 private acres and boasting 360-degree mountain views, this spacious home truly has everything you need for a fantastic getaway. The house is 45 minutes from Wolf Creek Ski Area boasting some of the best snow in the state, the historic mining town of Creede, Penitente Canyon Recreational Area, and Wheeler Geologic Area. The Great Sand Dunes National Park is about an hour away. Surrounded by fantastic hiking, fishing, mountain biking, and rock climbing this is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream vacation home. The indoor heated pool is always a hit with the younger crowd while the adults can enjoy some downtime in the hot tub or sauna. The heated garage has plenty of room for your sleds, dirt bikes, UTV’s, or mountain bikes and there is plenty of additional outside parking for your trailers as well.

Everything about this house was amazing! It had room for all of us with enough bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable. The views from all around were breathtaking. Our family loved our summertime stay!!! There was plenty of space for six adults and six children, and the indoor pool was a bonus. We enjoyed exploring the property and stargazing at night. The home is nicely situated near Del Norte, Southfork, and Creede. The host is very responsive. Highly recommend!

Christmas in June
It was large enough to accommodate my husband, and I and our five girls with their families. The grandkids loved the pool, of course, and we loved the views, as well as the open space. My daughter said we needed to keep this home in mind so we can come back, and when it is time to leave my grandkids hide, hoping we would stay longer. :). Secluded area in the mountains with beautiful views
The house was perfect for our group. Attached pool and hot tub were great to have. We had some issues with the water pump. Bill responded immediately and the problem was fixed right away. The day we were supposed to leave there was a winter storm warning and the roads were very bad. Bill offered to let us stay another day because he was concerned for our safety. He had the driveway cleared at least once/day during the heavy snows. I cannot emphasize enough how easy he was to contact and how helpful he was throughout our stay.

Wonderful mountain Escape
This property had everything we wanted and more, it was well away from anyone else, and the pool and hot tub were a wonderful oasis. The only real downside was the sauna did not work, but everything else more than made up for it.

We were all so impressed with not just the property but the amazing views. The pictures on VRBO do not do this home justice. The kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Waking up and seeing snow capped mountains before even getting out of bed was so mesmerizing. If you are looking for a beautiful home to escape the busyness of life with your family, look no further. The property owner Bill is a super nice guy and will do anything he can to make your stay comfortable.

All expectations met
We stayed four days and enjoyed our stay with family. Great floor plan for large family or group. Ride ATV or motorcycles from home, feed chipmunks and enjoy the views especially stars at night. Only things we would improve are making sure there was toilet paper ( we had to go buy some ) and heat the pool a little warmer but this should not detract from reserving this property it was great.
