Appartement avec grande terrasse au calme

Publié le 12 mars 2020 sur HomeAwayLa maison est tout simplement superbe; bien équipée, confortable et située dans un endroit magnifique, en pleine nature et entourée de paysages de rêve. Olga est charmante et fait le maximum pour que tout se passe facilement. Le petit restaurant dans le village est à recommander; les plats locaux et un acceuil très chaleureux, même avec les problèmes de langue. Tout a été parfait. Merci, Olga.

Endroit idéal pour visiter l'Alentejo
Publié le 9 oct. 2019 sur HomeAwayHavre de paix avec vue splendide sur la vallée. Endroit très calme avec les cloches des moutons comme musique de fond. Maison très jolie, propre et confortable avec tous les accessoires nécessaires et même plus. Il ne manque rien dans cette maison . J'y retournerais volontiers.

Havre de paix en Alentejo
Publié le 22 avr. 2019 sur HomeAwayVue magnifique, grand calme (à part les oiseaux et les cloches des moutons) et une maison dans laquelle il ne manque rien, que demander de mieux pour vivre et découvrir l’Alentejo ? Il faut juste accepter de faire quelques kilomètres pour voir la première petite ville mais les paysages sont tellement beaux ! Et si la soirée est un peu fraîche quel plaisir d’allumer le poêle ! Si vous rêvez de repos et de vous ressourcer, n’hésitez pas ...

Amazing experience
Publié le 27 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayWhat an amazing time we had in Orvalhos! The house sits on a hill where it overlooks the Alentejo plaines. In the mornings , the sounds of bells and birds always made me happy. The locals are just as nice!
The house was very clean and it had all we needed. We kept it warm by using the fireplace every evening.
Olga was always available for any questions I had and responded right away.
One item to note, there are village cats that sat outside on the porch waiting for us to open the door. Since my husband is highly allergic to cats, we really didn’t take advantage of sitting outside but it was too chilly anyway. By the end of our stay we named each cat and waved farewell. They too were part of our wonderful memories.

Dear Janet, thank you for such nice words! Unfortunately (or fortunately), some animals around is a part of experience. They are semi-wild and like doves: if one dove appears and you start to feed it, next time you will see two of them etc. Some of our guests start to feed the cats from village, and now it is difficult to reed of them. Thus, for the future we will ask our guests do not feed cats, dogs, sheep, goats etc. which can appear around. Thank you and hope to see you again!

Superior accommodation in a wonderfully relaxing setting
Publié le 15 mai 2022 sur HomeAwayWe spent a lovely relaxing springtime holiday in this well-equipped, spacious, clean and prettily decorated house. Woke up with birdsong daily and enjoyed meals and drinks on the large terrace with those beautiful views, exactly as pictured on the website. Hostess Olga was easy to reach when we had a question but otherwise gave us complete privacy. We thoroughly enjoyed the area, with its cork, olive and orange trees and whitewashed villages and towns in the midst of a colourful wildflower tapestry. Already, we are planning a return trip for more hikes, craft shopping and tasty Alentejo food and wine. Thank you Olga for sharing your house with us!
