Book Another Hotel Don't Wates Your Time and Money
Publié le 11 sept. 2017 sur HotelsI seriously wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone. We wanted a nice relaxing, luxury family holiday so we picked a 5 star hotel all inclusive for the kids to have a good time and based on the high price thought that this hotel offered that- the truth was far from that. MC Beach Hotel is an old unclean hotel that should be rated a 2 star at tops. We were shocked when we requested our room be cleaned, the towels been changed and shampoo topped up that their policy was to clean the rooms only once every three days, especially since they were short on cleaners! Leaving me having to clean up on holiday-I'd probably be ok with that if they weren't charging such extortionate rates. The rooms were very unclean with mouldy baths and windows that didn't shut. We had a problem with the toilet the first night that we arrived and waited 2hrs the next day for the broken safebox to be fixed. On arrival due to a long check in we missed dinner - kids were too tired to complain. We were not given any information or directions & no beach towel cards. The food was unappealing and reused for breakfast, lunch and dinner & drinks were of very bad quality. With regards to services the pool slides were open for a number of hours and only one at a time to save money, the kids club that was advertised was not open and the evening entertainment was only on one night in the week and was poor. So my advice to you, book another hotel and forget about this one, otherwise disappointment is guaranteed.

Our stay was good. The food were not always for me but that is what you can expect from a hotel with all inclusive. The hotel is not as bad as it has been rated.

Lies! Lies! Lies!
Publié le 11 sept. 2014 sur ExpediaIf I had wanted to book a 2 star hotel, then this place would have lived up to all my expectations.
However, it advertises itself as "5 star". On what basis, I have no idea!
Either the international criteria for 5 star hotels has changed radically, or this hotel has invented its own unique standard for measuring "luxury", "facilities", "guest experience", "friendliness", "entertainment" etc, etc.
A "superior room with sea view" turned out to be a small, poorly-furnished box with flashing neon lights on the "balcony" and two extra beds propped up against the wall (effectively halving the size of the room).
There WAS a sea view - technically. If you leaned precariously over the balcony and craned your head around the corner, the sea was visible.
The hotel was mostly full of Russians. This was not really an issue for me as I speak Russian - but I felt sorry for the handful of German and English guests as they could not communicate with the hotel staff who only speak Turkish and Russian.
The staff themselves are rude and ignorant.
The food was bland and badly presented. The drinks were also poor. The beer was clearly watered down and the spirits were poured from unmarked bottles. I avoided these in case I went blind! Coke, sprite and other soft drinks were poor imitations of the real thing.
Advertising these hotels as "5 star" is damaging to Expedia. I would now be very cautious in taking Expedia's star ratings at face value.
