We were disappointed with our stay of 3 nights, the first night we had no hot water at all. No apologies but we were upgraded to another cabin on the waterfront. It was much better but the shower needs a goods scrub as their was mould & build up of dirt. There was a hair dryer in the basic cabin but not in the upgraded cabin. We would not recommend it to our friends.

Janet, thank you for your review and sorry you didn't like your upgrade either. We are in the process of doing maintenance on our accommodation which includes the bathrooms. Obviously someone liked our hairdryer better than us to steal it from your villa.

We loved that it was straight across from the water so it had a great look out but the picture of the home we stayed in when booking was not the home we stayed in it was older and very dirty shower with mould in the grout and screen

You did book a budget chalet so as the name states it is a 'Budget chalet' and wifi was available around the office area as you were told.

No comfortable seating,had to sit at table all night. Sink plug didn’t hold water,fan in bathroom didn’t work. Old decor needs updating badly. Very disappointing!

If you had of advised about the plug we would have given you a new one and also looked at the bathroom fan. It is an old chalet, hence it is a budget chalet.

The photos shared on the website did not match the current state of the property, both in and out. Everything in the Comfort Chalet made the stay very uncomfortable. Upon arriving, tired to make coffee with the provided kettle, which would blowout the RCD. Online info indicated reception was open until 5pm, decided to take the kettle there to have replaced at 4:45, to find the reception is closed at 4:30. There was no value for the money paid at this holiday park. Would not recommend supporting this venue until renovations have taken place.

Beata, we are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us. Unfortunately, you were in one of the older chalets which hasn't been refurbished yet. If you had phoned regarding your kettle we would have supplied you with a new one. The office is still manned until 5pm but the doors are closesd at 4.30 so we can finalise our day.

Bed comfortable. Kitchen adequate. Bathroom needed a clean. Checkin staff abrupt.

Geoffrey, thank you for your review. My apologies if we seemed a bit abrupt at check-in. The chalet you were in is one of our oldest as is due for its annual maintenance, which is hard to fit in when we are so busy.

no photos were available of this accommodation option before choosing, didn't realise it was a caravan with a tiny bar fridge, barely any cooking utensils, curtains that are very sheer and don't cover the whole window, cobwebs , no airconditioning. very expensive per night for what type of accommodation it is. staff are lovely though.

Hi Adele, thank you for your review. These are our cheapest and oldest cabins which do need a bit of work to be carried out on them. As the weather in Albany does not get overly hot an air conditioner is not needed as a fan is supplied.

We were so excited for our stay at the Rose Gardens catching up with family and friends at this beautiful location however this excitement soon turned to disappointment. It is about five years since our last visit and no maintenance or upgrades have happened in that time. The grounds don’t appear to be being watered the roads need grading and the toilet blocks are appalling. Our ensuite cabin had mould in the shower bits of trim falling off, water staining on the ceiling and was in very bad disrepair. Overall a ver disappointing experience we won’t be back.

Hi Steph, as it has been 5 years since your last visit you have no idea what maintenance or upgrades have been done. In the last 6 months we have totally refurbished 4 chalets. It is very hard to water lawns when we are fully booked but they were green before the influx of people. The toilet blocks were only appalling due to certain ethnic groups who don't know how to use a western toilet and was very difficult to keep on top of their mess. I could not find any mould in your shower recess as I inspected it as soon as your review came up and yes there is a water stain on the ceiling but it does not leak.
