A picturesque setting!
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOur family stayed here for our daughter's wedding in early October. It is a beautifully built home right next to the Santiam river. It has a well appointed kitchen & great room for entertaining. Lot's of room on the ground floor and outside.
Our disappointment was all the beauty chairs, shampoo bowls, waxing table etc. in the bedroom and bathroom. And not enough places to hang clothing. However, owner was very responsive when we let her know our needs.

Great retreat

unusable spa
Publié le 28 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe arrived to find the spa being refilled and cold on our first night. Day two it was full or brown water. We received no credit for this in our huge fee which seemed exorbitant without the use of the spa and with the dirty and broken items shown to host in the kitchen. the small token of playdough and toys for our granddaughter dit not make up for the loss in any way. this is my second horrible experience with VRNO in Oregon. Not using this app again!

My desire is every g I rst had a wonderful stay. Maintenance sometimes is difficult to schedule in between stays.
Unfortunately my water sofner on my well had a issue and the iron was not being filtered and primedproperly. The clorine had a reacation to the iron in and discolored the water.
I drained and refilled. Jones pump serviced the sofner and issue resolved.
Kitchen is continued to be upgraded. If something is broken I replace.
I did offer the guest compensation in this situation, because I was unable to resolve during their stay.

Oregon Log Home
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe had the best time celebrating my late father. Carla was absolutely the best. I will be recommending her to everyone I know here 9in Alaska. I wish I didn't have to cut 2 nights off my stay. The nieces and nephews were able to enjoy the full stay.

Great for a bridal party...not so much for family vacations
Publié le 16 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe property is lovely but funky. It is not set up for two separate families, unless you REALLY don't mind a level of intimacy provided with partial walls. The cabin itself smells as though there have been decades of smoking allowed inside despite Carla providing alternate bed linens. The dining table does not have enough chairs...but it does flip over to serve as a billiards table? Carla was very responsive and accommodated our group. She provided great recs for activities around the property. Overall, this property would be great for a small, intimate wedding party, but I do not recommend for families.

try to accomdate our guests. We use 10x tide pods with Downey for linens. Guest was very sensitive to scent. Upon arrival new eygiptian cotton sheets were purchased and pre washed with tide clear.
Along with unscented garbage bags.
All bedding changed and all beds remade upon arrival to make sure guests was comfortable.
Faint smoke from burning earlier in the day.
Window need to be closed when barbaquing.
"Funky" Walls with vaulted ceilings is common in log homes. We want privacy for our guests. We are extending 10ft walls to celling 14ft.
Guests children pitched tent in grassy area, "purchased special princess pop up tent for their youngest daughter. Kids played and enjoyed playhouse and pirate swing and spa. We know children can be rough on a home. Remotes, adjustable bed and massage chair. Our special spa floates were taken to river by Guests and damaged.
We pride ourselves being "family friendly".
Host has cleaning and maintenance on call to make sure our guests are well taken care
