A nice option for visiting Duck Lake

In addition, for the price it does not have a water softener system so the water coming out of any faucet smelled awful. Matt assured us the water was safe to drink however he was quick to bring us a Britta water filter. The deck furniture needed a lot of cleaning, we didn’t sit on any of it. My wife trimmed the bushes so we could park off the road a get out of our vehicle. The dock was covered in geese poop so we didn’t go on it. The location of the property was great for us as we were spending time and golfing with friends at Duck Lake. Matt was very accommodating for changing our checkin and checkout dates with no extra charges

125 x 7 =875 not 1,000. It’s is the responsibility of the guest to read the description. There is no Wi-Fi as the description mentions. Wi-Fi will not be added as it keeps the price of the cottage at the best in time he area. Please keep in mind you are renting a cottage on a lake in Michigan is highly likely you will deal with geese. The docks are swept before guests arrive. After that I leave that between geese’s and the guest to figure out. Water is typical well water and is tested yearly. City folk use to chlorine will probably prefer H20 from a bottle. I take mine from the hose. For those reading this is a modest family cottage with an easy going attitude and will accommodate you for more than reasonable price. If you are looking for something different please look at other listings. It is priced to please not to pamper. Thank you for staying.

The Little house....
Publié le 6 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayAbsolutely loved this property. The boat launch was super close, house was clean and cozy. The master bed was so comfy, was hard to get up in the morning! We did some fishing and caught some really nice bass and pike. We will definitely back!

Thank you for staying. I’m sorry steps are a challenge for you. I would advise looking at photos ahead of your stay to make sure you choose a property that is suitable for your needs. For those reading the review there are 8 steps leading from the road to the cottage and 5 steps off the lakeside deck. Those that have a difficult time navigating standard steps should find other accommodations. Steps are visible in property descriptions.
