Relaxing and private
Publié le 2 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayBeautiful inside. Definitely needs some work outside but owner said they are redoing deck this month (there was a broken board we had to navigate but not a big deal). Spiral staircase would be a no go for anyone unsteady but it worked for ys.

Needs Attention

Not quite as expected
Publié le 9 août 2024 sur HomeAwayView was great. Loft was cozy. Termites coming out from the French doors. Water was yellow. Not very clean. Deck needs serious attention. Front porch at the door in similar condition. Structure looks very run down and in need of some serious repairs and TLC. Not like the pictures posted. Sorry, but I needed to be honest.

Thank you for your booking and honest review. I wish you had privately messaged me about the issues you saw.
1. I don't believe there are termites coming out of the French doors. Saying that, the French doors are slated to be replaced next Spring.
2. We get our water for the cabin from a well. Sometimes minerals and ores come through inspite of the fact that the filters are changed regularly by my neighbor. The water is perfectly safe to bathe in and even cook if you boil it before. But I tell all my guests that I recommend bringing your own water for consumption.
3. Deck definitely needs to be replaced and is on the books to be done in September 2024.

Perfect getaway

Beautiful location, cozy house

The deck is a little unstable, so we just had to watch our step walking around the deck. But we enjoyed watching the waves and sunsets everyday from the deck chairs. Would definitely stay here again.

PERFECT GETAWAY

Host was very responsive and communicated every step of the way which was perfect for us as we have never used Vrbo before. My only concern was the unstable back deck, but i knew about it from previous reviews. We fell in love with the sounds of ocean, views and short drives to Mendocino & Fort Bragg!

Lovely weekend in Mendocino
Publié le 1 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe love this property in Albion. It's on a secluded bluff, only 15-20 minutes from Mendocino. Beautiful view of the ocean, great hot tub. The house itself is cozy and sweet if a bit rustic.
