Definitely issues but the owner was a huge help

No A/C
Publié le 14 juill. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe home itself and location was beautiful (a little dirty and outdated in some areas). There were 6 of us plus a 1 year old. We stayed during one of the hottest weekends and the A/C in the main living area & kitchen were not working. We called asap & no one came until the next morning. They said it was fixed & we got back home in the evening to it still not working. Called again. It was almost 11pm before someone came. It finally got fixed after 2 whole days and then most of our family had to leave that next morning. We spent a lot of money on this vacation only to have to deal with all of this stress. I reached out multiple times to the owner and the managing company for some compensation. They eventually only credited us back $83. Definitely should have been more in comparison to what we spent. You also weren’t allowed to wear “outside” shoes in the house which they don’t tell you when you book the place. There are several ring cameras around the property. The feeling of being watched was very creepy.

We were glad to get it checked andresolved with added coolant.We were pleased that all other four A/C units in the house maintainedexcellent working conditions for your comfort while we worked on the oneunit. Thank you for your patience.As for the policy on outside shoes, we will ensure that this information isclearly communicated to all future guests to avoid any confusion. We areconscious of maintaining a clean home for our family and all guests, and wekeep our rugs and floors free of germs. We are aware of how unhygienicoutdoor shoes can be, especially as we have a young baby who crawls on thecarpeted areas. Thank you for understanding.Regarding home security, which we stated in our rental description of thehouse, we assure 100% privacy to our guests. The outside cameras have aprivacy block and do not record video or audio of common outdoor meetingareas. The cameras are only active on non-rental days for theft protection,similar to all homes nowadays.Thank you again for your feedback. My family and I will ensure that wecommunicate all the above in our rental description for the comfort of ourfuture guests. We appreciate maintaining open communication to help resolveany concerns or needs of our guests.

Lovely little getaway

We enjoyed the hot tub in the afternoon with the sun shining on us. A perfect time of rest and relaxation.
Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious enough. The house itself was very spacious and comfortable. Thanks for your hospitality!

Responsive host, minor issues

Property group handles everything; not a fan, would not book any listing with a property group managing it. Grill was left dirty from previous tenant and hot tub was filthy upon arrival (stagnant smelling water, green tint, scum/algae around sides). Owner responded quickly and had someone come out the next morning at 7am to drain, clean, and refill. There are multiple cameras on the property, 1 looking at the hot tub and 1 at the outdoor porch sitting area. I feel this level of surveillance in outdoor social areas is borderline creepy, as guests have no way of knowing whether they are being watched or listened to. We were lucky to have mild weather (booked in May) which was good, as the air conditioning units in the rooms are cool, but might have a hard time keeping up with temps in the 80s/90s.
Kitchen has some items, not many pots/pans for cooking. I'd recommend bringing extra toilet paper if you have a large family/children. Beds/sheets were very clean, as were towels. On site washer dryer is always a plus. Side note--there are absolutely no curtains in this house at all, just in case you are funny about such things. Owner communicated amazingly, check-in and check-out was seamless. An overall good stay once issues were resolved.

Publié le 8 janv. 2023 sur HomeAwayWeekend girls trip. Home is absolutely stunning. We would definitely return. The pillows and comforters were so amazing we asked for the link to purchase ourselves. Stunning views from the kitchen. Well equipped kitchen. Great host communication. We usually do these girls trips twice a year for the last few years. By far this is the best house we have stayed at.

Thanksgiving Getaway

The homeowner, Yesi, is the best! She is available to help or assist with any issues or questions that might come up. Time really does fly when you're having fun. I hope to be back in the future for more great times!
