Perfrct break from reality!
Publié le 9 nov. 2024 sur HomeAwayJust perfect - just as the listing states. The yard was great for our dog and we spent hours on the couch with the cosy fire! Really quiet - neighbors near by but i only saw one person while on a walk and he was very friendly! 100% would come back in summer to enjoy the great beach, pool etc!

Fall Getaway
Publié le 20 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayWe wanted to visit Jim Thorpe. We were around 25 mins away. The scenic views made the drive seem shorter. We went into Lehighton to go to Lorenzo’s for dinner. It was not fancy, but the food was very good. We also did breakfast at Perch both mornings. The people are very friendly and the food was good, but leave a little extra time to get your food. Not a quick stop. We went on the train in Jim Thorpe and walked the streets. It was a fun day. We enjoyed just hanging out at the house and our dog LOVED the back yard. The house was rustic, but comfortable and gave the feel of a cabin. The king bed was adequately comfortable. It had a great deck on the back of the house and we enjoyed the gas fireplace.

A Wonderful Poconos Stay

The fenced yard was the perfect place for fetch and the deck was a great place to relax and to take in tranquility. The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet with many deer grazing throughout. We found the house to be clean and tidy with nice attention to details, including laundry detergent, soap in the bathrooms, and condiments for cooking. This is definitely a house we would rent again!

Great spot for reactive dog
Publié le 15 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayI was looking for a getaway I could easily bring my dog along for. He’s reactive and doesn’t always get to go on trips but this was perfect! The yard was secure as well as the porch so he could come and go as he pleased and I didn’t have to stress about him getting into trouble. He absolutely loved chasing his ball in the yard and the best part was running up and down the porch stairs tired him out! The neighborhood was great to walk in, super quiet and peaceful.
Def would rent again!

Cozy cabin
