Overall great stay
Publié le 31 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall we had a great stay. Everyone had their own rooms and we had plenty of room to do what we wanted. Linda was a great host. The only complaint and what we felt was a violation of privacy was the camera they had over the hot tub that went off everytime you were in or around it. The description they gave said it was up high over looking the driveway which would have made sense but to be looking at people while they are in the hot tub or possibly doing something else is highly inappropriate.

The camera is mainly to see people coming in the driveway and the front door, we can only see the corner of the hot tub on the camera. No one should be doing anything inappropriate in the hot tub, We do have neighbors.

Family get together
Publié le 13 oct. 2024 sur HomeAwayOverall good experience. Quiet neighborhood and private setting. Location and proximity to hiking was good. Also, not far from Jim Thorpe which is a lot of fun.
House generally clean but in need of some TLC. Old and well used carpeting in some areas of house. Some beds found to be uncomfortable, stiff and very squeaky. Kitchen needs some decent knives for meal prep and wine glasses (there were only 3 or 4 in various shapes and sizes).
The space was sufficient for our group of 12 and we enjoyed the game room in the evenings. Hot tub was nice - felt odd though with security camera pointing in its general direction.

All the worn carpets are scheduled to be replaced in November.

Golf Trip

Great Family House for multiple generations
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is beautiful and lots of rooms, places to sleep. The kitchen was large and a very long dining room table for everyone to sit at. I do wish the info on the swimming bands was more clear. I had assumed since you only receive 8, they would be the silicone bands we could exchange as different people wanted to go to the lake or pool. They are the paper ones with a sticky back instead and change color each week. The water pressure is also low, so just plan on that when packing toiletries. Other than those few things, we had a great time.

Spacious, comfy and clean.

Easily walkable from the house. The pool doesn’t have pool chairs so take pool chairs or sit on your blanket. We loved using the hot tub and the big porch for our gatherings. The owner was easily accessible and very helpful. I would recommend this home for any season.

Beautiful house and great getaway
Publié le 1 août 2024 sur HomeAwayThe house is perfect for a friends and family getaway! Enough space to spend time but also have time to yourself if needed. The owners were responsive and helpful! Will definitely have to comeback!
