The hotel is beautiful and old and it has been beautifully updated! The restroom is very good at the service is excellent.

It was Construction in the hotel, most of the public space was not accessible, When I made a complaint, I was told that in the future, the public spaces would be much nicer so therefore, I need to not be upset about the quality of the current visit. No accommodations were made to satisfy my needs

The hotel has an interesting history and connection to Conrad Hilton. It has maintained a period 'feel' that is quite unique and welcoming. The staff were, without exception, helpful and friendly.
The area around the hotel has very little nightlife, and feels a bit sketchy, but the hotel restaurant offers good fare, so there's no need to go exploring after dark.
After a long day of driving, we were glad to relax, and have all our needs met, in the comfortable atmosphere of the Andaluz.

Beautiful historic hotel, decorated in Andalusian style ( one of my favorites!) Some areas were under renovation, but even “not redone” one can see the beauty. The restaurant “Mas” was excellent for tapas, though the sizes of the dishes were ( as my very nice waitress put it ) “American-size”. The room was ready very early , so I was able to check in and change my clothes before my explorations, There was a Welcome message with my name on the TV . So nice !( I never use the TV in hotel rooms , I have no time for that , but it’s so thoughtful to see a personalized message ) Everybody from the valet to the reception desk employee were super nice, possibly the friendliest and helpful hotel staff that I ever encountered ( and I travel a lot!) Hopefully I’ll get back there at some point when the renovation is finished .

The hotel itself is nice, clean, comfortable. Loved our dinner and drinks. Rooms run warm in the summer from poor window insulation. Biggest issue is the area/location. Lots of homeless, drug use. Didn’t have an issue but made us wary of walking anywhere outside. Staff was helpful and kind.
