Was told coffee would be ready at 0700… that seemed kind of late, but whatever. At 0707 I went down to lobby and no coffee was made. I checked with on duty staff and he said that the manager wasn’t here yet so once she got there the coffee would be made. He said she should be there in 15 minutes. At 0745 I came back to lobby and no coffee…I once again woke up the on duty staff and asked what was up with the coffee. He said that he doesn’t know how to make the coffee and the manager would do it. I said making coffee is not hard and he walked over to the coffee maker and opened a draw which had cream and sugar in it. I opened a cabinet and it had the coffee and filters in it. I then proceeded to make the coffee myself which was poured into one of those pump type carafes. Once the coffee started amazingly a female came out of a door and rearranged the carafes orientation. This is an inexpensive hotel so not a lot of thrills- understandable! However, if you advertise that there will be coffee…then have coffee. The night before we stayed at an even cheaper hotel…no coffee promised and none delivered…it was perfect just as promised.

Room was clean but the heater didn’t work only the fan told the front desk they said they sent maintenance but it was never resolved. There were cockroaches and the phone didn’t work nor did the remote. I expressed this all with the front desk when I check out. Had to buy my own linen

Cockroaches, unethical staff-then manager parked her car and three other cars parked in handicapped spaces and they were no handicapped placards. My parents are handicapped and were forced to park in a regular spot far from the hotel entrance. I asked manager to refund our money and she refused. No blankets, no amenities, it was a terrible experience overall.

Very unhappy
When you look at all the pictures of the rooms, they look very basic. Ok! They do show a picture of a dining area, but there was no continental breakfast. Our room did not have a refrigerator and microwave where other guest said that they did. when we commented about it. The staff said we didn’t request them and there were additional fees. There was nothing advertised about that, so we asked for refrigerator they said they did not have one. They said they were under construction, so they did not have all of the listed amenities. We did not see or hear any construction going on at all nor any construction equipment. There was a hole in the bedspread and the whole top of the shower curtain was barely hanging on all torn. We had to ask for clean towels twice during the week. If we could’ve gotten a refund, we would’ve gone to stay somewhere else. I’ll never stay at a Motel 6 again. And I wouldn’t have this time either except there was nothing else available in the area.

Woke up to find a cockroach by the bed so I killed it. Went downstairs for coffee and found another one above the elevator in the lobby. When I pointed it out to your employee who happened to be walking by she just shrugged like “so?” The fact that you tripled the price per night is not ok!

Stay During Balloon Fiesta
Blankets thinner than bed sheets. Stayed for several nights and never saw housekeeping once. Third floor room had sliding window that can open on both sides with no screen so could fall out the window. Small tv. No fridge, microwave, safe, or hair dryer. Vending machines out of order. Gas station next door run down and boarded up. Nothing around motel.
