Nice Easter Getaway

Secure parking under carport and easy booking procedure. House requires a garden reno in the backyard and internal requires a little more attention to detail with cleanliness in kitchen area. Very simple basics need some TLC, not far from perfect. Thankyou we had fun and a great stay.

We were a group of friends arriving from NSW and Victoria plenty of space, well stocked kitchen with welcome kit, lovely furnishings and plenty of room for all. The owners had great communication throughout, we will be back when next in the area. A home away from home :)

Great Location but....
Publié le 9 nov. 2022 sur HomeAwayThere is an issue with the way this property is marketed on STAYZ. Advertised as a four bedroom, two bathroom property, the photos of the ONE main bathroom are misleading and purport to be of separate bathrooms but are actually of the main bathroom. The second "bathroom" was simply a shower and toilet. No Vanity and not even a mirror. Not at all suitable for 4 mature adults.
The general atmosphere is of a tired holiday house, most doors squeaked annoyingly, especially the bathroom door which was disturbing for occupants of nearby bedrooms. One of the bedside lamps didn't work and there were no replacement light bulbs to be found.
The property was clean but disturbingly, the Dryer was full of towels and surely should have been emptied before our arrival.

Many thanks for your feedback on the property- I'm most grateful. The second bathroom is adjoining to the laundry area with the sink being here but yes no mirror and we can look at rectifying this. You will find doors and floorboards make a noise at times considering it's a 100 year old house, all part of the charm but will see what I can do!
We do have the maintenance form at the property for guests to list light bulbs etc that need changing- we clean during the day so we simply don't know unless a guest tells us.
And occasionally when there is a short turnaround time such as an 11am check out and a 2pm check in, the towels haven't quite dried but we have two sets and the spares can be left in the dryer.
