Great hosts and wonderful food (and wine)

Our evening meals were especially good with fresh vegetables we helped to select from the garden prepared to perfection. We were lucky enough to eat outdoors overlooking the vines. A fantastic experience.

Room for improvement
Publié le 27 avr. 2018 sur HotelsBeautiful setting and friendly welcoming hosts, however the accommodation wasn't up to the standard we had experienced at other similar bed and breakfasts. There was a lot of personal items in the fridge and pantry and the breakfast was a help yourself to what was there rather than a personal service. The yoghurt didn't turn up in the morning as promised either, so rather disappointed with this aspect. We did enjoy a glass of wine on arrival and met other guests which was nice.

Oh my goodness I am sorry I forgot your yogurt. You should of said when I dropped off the croissants and I would have got it to you straight away!
Thanks for your review and it is great to get feedback on how you saw the Cottage as we are always looking to improve our guests stay.
I would like to point out that the cottage is self catering, hence stuff in the pantry. As The Cottage sits alone it is not part of our Bed & Breakfast accommodation wing, we do however invite people in from The Cottage for a complimentary glass of wine. If you were wanting a true Bed & Breakfast experience then it would have been better to book that instead of the Self Catering cottage.
I have looked at the website and I have requested a few things to reflect that it is a self catered Cottage. Hopefully this will help in future bookings we receive.
I do hope you enjoyed your stay regardless of the feedback and we hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay in Central Otago.

We stayed 1 night on our way to the west coast, and were very pleased with our room. The hosts were very friendly and there were lot of outdoor space for us to use. Breakfast very good.
