Vacay Rental Gem On Beautiful Lake Latoka
Publié le 5 sept. 2024 sur HomeAway We found this to be an exceptionally clean & comfortable rental cabin/house on Lake Latoka. It was perfect for our 2-week vacation. It is on a large, beautiful lot with a well-groomed lawn and large trees, has a gas grill, firepit, dock, etc. We enjoyed the lake views and stunning sunsets from the large windows in the 4-season porch and the living room. The air-conditioning was wonderful to have for the very hot & humid first week of our stay. Two garage stalls for our use were a plus. The large kitchen with dining area was well-stocked with all the dishes, utensils, cookware, etc. anyone would need. Same floor laundry room was so convenient. Beds were very comfortable. Adjustable blinds on every window in the house were appreciated, as was the plentiful storage throughout. The owners have thought of everything.
The host was very gracious and easy to communicate with, welcoming any questions we had. The location is perfect: quiet residential area on a beautiful lake, close to grocery stores and just a short drive to Alexandria. This rental is a gem! We highly recommend it and will stay here again when in the area.

Beautiful home and property. Very clean and comfortable. We were able to bring our boat and kayaks, although the owners had kayaks and a lily pad for us to use. We fished and swam in the clear water, enjoyed morning coffee on the dock then gorgeous evening sunsets! The perfect family get away.

Family vacation

We all enjoyed the kayaks, the clear water and the little beach. I appreciated the phone call prior to check in to be sure we had what we needed. The proximity to Alexandria was great for other activities and for my daughter and her family who stayed at a hotel and drove over for the day.

Perfect getaway
Publié le 7 août 2024 sur HomeAwayWe totally enjoyed our time at Lake Latoka. It was fully equipped with everything that we needed. Everything is in like new condition, comfortable beds, and great beach area. Water is clear and fishing was fun. Becca, property manager, was always a phone call away if we had a question. Would go back in a heartbeat!!

Lake Latoka cabin

Cons: No internet, very loud A/C fan, not much for amenities such as Salt/Pepper, etc., small TV for room size.
All in all, a very nice place, but the lack of internet was a no-go for next time.
