Staff was great, faculties were clean and in good condition. Bed was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept (or attempted to) in. Elevator was incredibly slow and cramped. But I cannot speak more highly of the staff, ALMOST made up for the uncomfortable bed.

Alexandria is like the armpit of Louisiana. If I didnt have an elderly grandmother in Pineville I would avoid this place like the plague. The room smelled like mildew with a hint of some air freshner. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling off. The vanity light did not work. The shower walls were dirty and the soap dispensers empty. Staff was pretty friendly and check in and out was a breeze. When I go back I will stay at the town2suite by marriot across the street.

The outside landscaping, along with the rest of city really needs major maintenance & the inside esp elevator carpet could really use TLC. The shower walls in room was yellow dyed, which was ick. The Amenities & customer service was excellent though. Young black guy at front desk was so nice and friendly.

Swimming pool was closed due to lack of maintenance. Water was green. Housekeeping every other day. I had to empty our trash, take dirty laundry (towels) and trash to front desk for replacements. Commode never cut off even after the engineer looked at it. Was there three nights and will never use a Marriott hotel again. Was very disappointed in the service. Only one desk person tried to help. I have used Marriott and only Marriott for years and years. So disappointing and after paying over $600.00 for three nights, will not be staying with you again. Goodbye Marriott.
