Great place to stay
Publié le 23 sept. 2024 sur HomeAwayGreat place. Plenty of room. Clean and tidy. Great for children plenty of toys and play area outside. Great location to go to the beach. We cycled to Mablethorpe and blessed with fantastic weather. The pub in the village had nice good but the manager didn’t like visitors or as he termed them tourists and didn’t make us feel welcome but his loss as we still had a good time at other locations.

So glad you enjoyed your stay and found so much to enjoy.
I spoke to the manager at the local pub and she apologised for what had happened. They are having to give up the tenancy for personal reasons and are finding everything really difficult.
I do hope that it doesn’t put you off visiting Lincolnshire again.

A lovely break away

The meadow was beautiful to sit in at sunrise & sunset.
The beach was close by which the kids enjoyed but due to having to cut our stay up there short they didst get a chance to see butlins or the attractions around.
Hopefully can stay again & they can stay longer to enjoy fully .

Small but perfectly formed
Publié le 30 août 2024 sur HomeAwayA very clean and nicely furnished property. The garden was secure, and felt safe for our 3 year old grandson, despite it being on a busy road. Anderby Creek a 10 minute drive away, with a lovely sandy beach.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I'm glad you found the beach at Anderby lovely. There are so many along the coast and I love the names of the beaches at Mogg's Eye and Wolla Bank!

Last minute getaway
Publié le 26 août 2024 sur HomeAwayLovely location, with wonderful views. Very much enjoyed the quietness away from all the hussle and bussle. Everything we needed, a little home from home. Good job this little gem isn't on the market, as I think my Dad would of been tempted! Excellent communication skills, easy check in and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend or book again.

Family holiday let

Lovely bungalow

Very secure for our dog to have a play in the garden and an easy property to access. We had a lovely stay visiting the surrounding areas of Sutton on sea and mabelthorpe.

Lovely venue
Publié le 16 août 2024 sur HomeAwayMe and my grandchildren had a great stay but had to clear out numerous spiders from every room, outdoor toys provided were all damaged, blind fell down on first night scaring my grand daughter. Location is very good and we would visit the area again

Hi, I am sorry about the spiders but the bungalow is in the countryside and they do get in, especially after the harvest as there are more flies about.
Thank you for pointing out about the toys in the shed. I have checked the toys and both the footballs were squashy so we'll pump them up. The swing ball doesn't work as the base broke but I'll sink a post in the ground so that will work. The croquet, cricket and frisbee all work. Also the beach toys were all fine.
I'm glad that your grandchildren had a good time and that you return to the area.

Lovely property
Publié le 3 août 2024 sur HomeAwayOur 10th consecutive year staying here, we love the little bungalow, plenty of parking and it has everything we need. Not far from Sutton-on-Sea where we use a friend's beach hut. This year we visited Wren Farm, Huttoft Donkey Sanctuary, Chapel for the arcade rather than busy Mablethorpe, Red Lion for a drink in the sunshine, had a lovely meal at The Beach Bar in Sutton but booking is advisable. Went to cinema in Mablethorpe too and not forgetting Farmer Browns for an ice cream 🙂 The host is friendly and responsive to messages, already booked for next year.

We are so happy that you like Corbiere and that it's easy to visit lots of places within a twenty minute drive. We like the fact that parking in Alford is free and that we can pop to the Coop or market there.
I'm glad that you still visit the donkeys as they are sweet and we tend to avoid Skegness and its crowds unless we go in early before 10am!

Wonderful bungalow with plenty of space.

Loads of space for parking ( 2 to 3 cars ) Overall we enjoyed our stay very much and our dogs loved it. If i had to pick up on anything it would be that it is o a main road and its quite noisy at times but that does not detract from a very nice property.

Thanks so much for the great review! I know what you mean about the traffic noise and we have tried to minimise it by planting trees and having sitting areas around the back!
